I got this tester pack in a order of Bohdi gear I made. Anyone heard of either this breeder or this strain? Tahoe OG x Red-gold-blue Any idea's what this is?

I found another seedling of these in the wrong tote. So theres actually 12.

Smoking the male sacs or? Is this a verifiable way of finding good males? Never heard or thought of trying this. How does this work? And how long have you been using this method... curious if you've ever tested it with other males to see the difference in the offspring or know of anyone who has?

Not the pollen. But the leafs with trichs. A good male will produce some terps.
It goes back to my childhood. My dad grew trees taller than our house in the early '70's.
His friends tasted males when they crossed bld with nld's.
I think Gooeybreeder still does it if you're looking for proof.

I should also add that most "breeding" done by seedmakers is just for the market and profit.
Very few true breeders exist in the current market.
My beans are for my own personal use and freezer stash.

Are you still around? Another way to smoke test males is to stress the fk out of em until they produce female flower.
Dave Watson also reverses males to smoke test.

One super stout male to choose from...
It has a poopy purple rub in veg just like my piffs2. Tight nodes and clusters at 2wks. Really strong branches too.
So if i can get some nice smelling trichs out of him he'll get to be this summers stud.

All girls are different from each other.
Very tall stretchy mint.
Very short "piff terp".
Tall sour sharp piffy.
Tall sweet woody.
Med. sour fruity piff.
Med. sweet asian
And 1 herm.

This male is getting some colorful balls. Not too cold either. I've seen a couple small trichs already
