I'm 67 now and have smoked pot since I was 13 and since 2001 have smoke multiple times a day. Was 4 years ago I had to get up and get into the hospital early for a T test related to prostate issues. Doc said mine was higher than most 18 yo dudes so no lowering here from pot use.
Canadian units are in mmol/L while US ones are in ng/dl but I did the conversion so have both on my lab report.
Can. reference for normal is 10.3 - 29.5 and my result was 32.2 and flagged as high. Translates to 928 on the US scale.
I had a vasectomy almost 35 years ago as well.
I do take a lot of different vitamins and supplements but none specifically related to raising T. I started taking a small dose of RSO nightly 4 months before my 3rd prostate MRI last August and my urologist was amazed that it had shrunk to 55cc when the 2nd one about 18 months prior had it at 75cc which was up from the first one a year earlier when it was 60cc.
I was not getting any sleep because of night-time runs to the bathroom but still feeling like I had to go when I was done. Started taking zinc and other supplements and training myself to ignore the urge to pee so now I may get up once a night but fall back to sleep in minutes. At least 3 nights a week I sleep a full 7 hours without having to go. Got a bad case of trucker's bladder so can't hold a lot and that's most of my issues now.
After my last MRI when my PSA test had also dropped the deal was wait 2 years until the next MRI but get a PSA test every 6 months. Just had the PSA done a couple weeks ago and it was back up those 2 points it had dropped to 14.2 and now he wants me to get another MRI later this month already and maybe a biopsy. Called there today to book a phone appt to discuss it with him but didn't hear back yet. I'm going to tell him lets wait 3 months and get another PSA test and if it's up then I'll make the overnight trip down to the capital for an MRI in a much better machine than the one 2 hours away. Brand new hospital but they just moved the ancient MRI machine over from the old hospital. Cheap Alberta conservative a-holes so they can pay for me to drive all the way down to Edmonton and stay at a nice hotel. One of the few perks of being old and broke.
