Not hermie, but seed found. harvest or wait?

EDIT: I pulled it, and it's a seed, which means something pollenated it. So is the damage done or should I pull the plants? (See second post for closeup and triches, only one amber).

Is this the dreaded hermie?? Please tell me no. They were doing so well! WTF?





This is on one of my Hydro plants. If it is a hermie? Should I cut that bud off and inspect the plant, or should I take the entire plant out?

Of course it's in the back of the tent. (right side)

Pretty sure that's a pollen sack, not positive, nor do I know how to remove (or how much to remove)

Pull it out with tweezers and don't panic about it its not too unusual to see nanners in late flower the chances are nothing will happen or maybe a few seeds, it's nothing to be overly concerned about.

That's not the same thing as a hermie a hermie shows male and female flowers not a just a few nanners.

It is only a seed.. Calm yourself.

I think the plants are getting close to the end anyways, so it could be time to pull regardless. Figured more "expert eyes" might know, and offer some constructive advice. Been second guessing myself for a week, and then this showed up.

You have a lot of white hairs still ... not time to chop yet.
A seed like the one you found is from a nanner, not a hermie plant.
It's no big deal at this stage. You'll probably find a few more here and there.
Just let it ride.

The plants on the right look pretty close the plants on the left have 2-3 weeks left.

Something dropped pollen somewhere, I've had grows where I've got 5 seeds out of like 6 plants and like 12 oz. I wouldn't worry if you're not noticing seeds on the rest of the plant. If I had to guess it's somewhere lower on the plant that's not getting enough light that grew a male part. It happened weeks ago for a seed to be at that level of maturity. Can't do shit now but finish.

Plants look good though well done.

Disregard people that are here just to bust balls. Looks good. Like others said just hang in and let them finish.

My last two hermed. I let them finish. Fine smoke. One yielded almost 4 oz. About 75 keeper seeds in that one. In my feeble opinion I would expect them to produce all or mostly female. They started as baggie seeds so they may well be genetically disposed to herm. Clones not showing signs of it though. Like others said don't sweat it unless you fear pollinating others. I'd finish the run and shoot for a perfect result in the next grow. Be sure to thoroughly wipe down the area after chopping to eliminate any pollen.

Yeah, that was my fear. If I see one how many don't I see and should I remove to be safe.

After reading all the thoughts above, I decided to let them run. If I get seeds it's not the end of the world.

I did have one male, and he was removed early, but I let him grow in our living room, and then out on the deck. It's possible that I got pollen on myself from him, and carried some downstairs unknowingly. Since I did not seeing any nanners in the tent, that's my working theory. Being my first grow I do spend lot of time 'watching' them, so it's possible.

It’s not all that uncommon for stuff to self pollenate late in flower. Just let it finish and enjoy the smoke. Pulling out seeds as you see them while it’s still growing not necessary leave them buds alone till you pull it.

I found one seed in the plant on my profile pic. First time I’ve ever found a seed. My wife actually found it tearing apart a cured bud to smoke. Had no effect on anything.
