Perlite killed my plants!!!

i put a little perlite in with my seedlings and it expanded and killed half my crop!:cuss:

As most of us know, perlite does not expand.

Show us some pics of what you have done ;p

you sure it was perlite? i know you can get fuse powder and blocks which is in white pellet cubes.... that stuff + flame = Dead plants.....
other than that cant see how perlite will kill ur plants...

probably added to much water and turned it to mush suffocating the roots and drowning the plants

well these little clear jelly cubes came out of nowhere pushing the soil up and out the pot and i havent seen them until i started using perlite. they only appear when i make a greenhouse for each pot with a plastic bag

Sounds to me like you have soil moist crystals in there vs perlite. They will kill your plant. House plants do ok with those water crystals but not the mj. Make sure what you baught was PURE perlite with no additives.

Sounds like the soil already had some moisture control in it. What soil did you use?
