i'll let these soil guys help you out then. i'm out of ideas. lol.

sucks that you spent so much time training them though.
thanks for taking the time to try and help, I do appreciate it.

had lots of time to train while waiting on an auto to finish... i have 4 cuttings of the GDP im hoping will root soon, so maybe these 2 will veg another month or so... hopefully lots of time to work out my kinks.

how would you remedy a soil ph issue?
it's quite common for organic soil to acidify slightly so you pH less down, e.g. feed pH ~6.8 or 7.0
but you first need to take samples and see what actually is going on and best not listen to stoner bro myths who think they are plant doctors by the sheer looks of a simple leaf spot.
Mg def but dark leaved plant ! LMFAO

Interveinal chlorosis bc chlorophyll gets recycled

Apart from N-def most easy to spot ;)

You don’t adjust pH in soil. Well maybe you do but it’s a fool’s errand.

after many yrs of dwc i'm trying coco now. so far it's been pretty easy transition. you feed like hydro and see results (good and bad) very quickly.

i grow veggies in soil but i'm not too worried if one of my tomato plants doesn't make it. if me or the mrs runs out of weed, that's gonna be a different story. lol.

good luck man!

Its overfed. My girls were manifolded in veg for 10-11 weeks. If organic and the mix was right, you messed up on the watering. If not organic then you simply overfed or did not use a balanced formula.

At this stage they should grow fast and strong because you have a nice rootball.

I will also add that a long veg plant like that will use up a 10gal pot problem. I finish in 3gal in veg and move to 10gal about 10-14 days before flip. Since it is already in 5 prepare for a big girl! 5gal would stunt and limit growth if not transplanted. Got the room? Go 15gal. I use 10 because I hit my room limit on medium i.e. Humidity cant be controlled beyond a certain # of gallons in my room. In my sitch many end up needing topdress or feeding somewhere in weeks 3 - 7, depending completely on how fast it drinks and grows.

I would guess one of your veg topdresses was not needed.

What's your water like? Well or city? Do you know the ppm? Do you have Ca deposits on faucets and stuff? Are you adding anything else? Just like to take care of the basics first.
i checked my tap water quick at lunch and the cheapie vivosun tds pen read 438 ppm and the ph was 6.8. tds was higher today than i remember it being before, so....

i picked up some 10 gal bags on my lunch... the 15 gal looked way too big, but what do i know, right. lol
I'll put them into the 10's and see if they can make to finish with only a few top dressings

Pot sizes look insane above 7.
7 looks big, sort of.
10 looks like a monster even compared to 5.
Then again some dudes here post outdoor pots that are 300gal and the plants are 15 feet high! That's a big pot...

I’ve been running organic and Gaia for two years now. Some things I’ve learned. 5 gallons of my soil lasts about a month. I start topdress a week after transplant. Gaia takes time so weekly is better then monthly. Adding ewc to ea topdress is also a must. You’ll get a nice fuzz of mycelium after a few days.
Keep the soil covered so it never really goes dry. This is a common mistake.
Keep filling your bags so there always full you’ll need all 10 of those gallons.
IMHO look into sips. Over under water is a very common problem with organic. Sips will solve that problem. 9FD766AC-CCD3-4850-8F33-A736C76ABC12.jpeg

hey @myke , so a question for you please.

i looked at the website for gaia and the 4,4,4 in particular. it lists the NPK and the ingredients but it doesn't show Ca, Mg or any of the other micros (10 or so) that cannabis needs. is it by itself a "complete" nute? or do you need to add what's not listed??

I do add 1 cup dolomite lime to ea 7.5 g when I mix my soil made with plain peat.Im at 2 yrs now and havent added anymore.
Sometimes I use promix hp,so in that case I add one cup Gaia 444 per 5 gallon mix moisten let sit for a week or two and plant. No lime.
Most of my soil is a mix now of ea.of the above.
Somewhere I read 444 is about 12% Ca,cant find it now.

Check the contents of 444,greensand, rock dust etc.I think overtime it has everything ,just needs the microbes to chew it down.

If you tap is ~0.9 EC (assuming 500 scale) I'd be concerned what's in it; there's lots of something.
Is a local water report available?
My final nute mix is not much higher than that.
Agreed, 190 ppm is what I use.450 is getting too high.Id be checking whats in it.
