If the plant has been in flower since November you have issues somewhere that flushing or not isn't going to help. The only genetics that flower that long are tropicals and rarely past 20 weeks without decline in quality.

But PW will still say it was harvested early or leave it for another two years.

This site is rife with amateurs spewing nonsense.

It will be helpful to confirm that this plant was actually flowered for 4.5 months.

As far as PW, just look back on pretty much any thread on this site and see who always chimes in with misinformation and the phrase, it's early let it go, or you pulled it too early, or it has 3-4 weeks left when people say the plant is going Amber.

So in conclusion my post was helpful in two ways.

A. Determine how long the OP's plant has been under 12/12.

B. To let others who may be new to growing not to listen to everyone on here. Do your research. Just because someone has 16,000 posts doesn't necessarily mean they know how to grow. Take advice and research if that advice is plausible before just applying to your crop.

The closest pic of the flower is not high enough def to tell for sure. If it has been flowering since November it was ready 10 weeks ago.

I can almost make out trichome stalks without heads. Often if a plant is well over ripe the heads degrade completely and just the stalks remain.

The pistils have shriveled and the calyx look to be swollen, from what I can see the Trichomes look milky at least. I do suspect though, the plant is well past it's ripeness date.

You don't need high def pictures to determine if a plant is ready or not. We must be looking at different pictures if you think the pistils have shriveled. :confused:

Pics are good enough to see the buds arent swollen, plant is very leafy, lime-green leaves something is off plant got stunted in flower and couldnt properly bud out, and perhaps may never do so....

@OP did you smoke a sample of it? can still make hash out of it

If your gonna flush just straight water is best imo giving molasses at the end defeats the purpose lol

I agree i have tried both and organic soil/compost grown wins in taste and smell everytime i aint saying you cant grow nice bud using chems you can its just i find organics to be superior in my experience as well its whatever works best for you i suppose

At the time of harvest the plant could be considered to have 100% of it's maximum chlorophyll. After two days 50% would be left. After a 14 day dry from harvest only 0.78% of chlorophyll would be left.

So what exactly is the need to cure your weed if less than 1% of the total amount of chlorophyll is left in the flower?

I don't know I never met anyone who dries their weed for 2 weeks before. I assumed 1 week dry at the most. Sorry for calling you an idiot earlier i just assumed you were being mean again. Apparently I was wrong

Nothing about this picture looks ready, or at 20 weeks. If it truly is, i apologize, i could never keep one that healthy so long in flower.

I'm not a big flusher, :lol:. But if he wants to try it so be it. I can see the logic in both sides of the argument. The tastiest and stinkiest weed I've ever had was my first time using Earth Juice. The last few weeks I just gave plain water. I should have used the EJ a little longer, because I had more senescence than I was expecting, but I was really pleased. That was 3 1/2 years ago, but I still have some of it.
