Will zip ties growing into stalk hurt plant?

I ziptied my drip lines to the stalk not thinking of the stalk growing and now the zipties are tight around the stalk. Will that hurt the plants?

I would be more concerned about it choking your drip lines.

The plant will just engulf the zip tie eventually and grow around it.

Agree but if they’re just tight and plant hasn’t already begun growing around it i personally would cut it . I’ve missed a couple before and as stated didn’t hurt imo

Ya the drip lines were starting to cut off I fixed them but the zipties I couldn’t cut off just worried me it would hurt the plants

You need some micro shears, my friend. They are one of the most useful tools I own.
