I am new here so bare with me. I like to start my first grow outside with cloth pots 10 gallon. I have couple auto seeds and would like to know what living soil is recommended? There is so much information to take in it gets over whelming. Any help would be appreciated

I use Happy Frog outdoors in 10 gallon cloth pots, with 20-25% coarse perlite. Try to find light colored cloth and keep the pots out of direct sunlight. Black cloth in direct sun reaches 150° on a 90° day.

Thank you. I did realize they get that hot since they are cloth. I will use tan colored pots. After about a couple weeks do you suggest a tea feed using bat guano, worm castings a few times up to harvest?

As a new grower I would not recommend organic growing. When growing organically it is a lot harder to get things dialed in compared to using nutes. I would recommend trying something else for your first grow

What would you recommend? I am just trying to keep it simple until I have a few grows under my belt

There’s a lot of brands of fertilizers out there and most probably work just fine but for me I use General Hydroponics. Growers have been using General Hydroponics since the 70’s. I use it for that reason. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. As for soil I use Foxfarm ocean forest mixed with “Black Kow” compost. 75% FF to 25% Black Kow. Something my local Walmart sells. It’s basically composed cow shit.

I agree,gh trio, cal mag and coco/perlite mix is easy to work with and way more user friendly than soil. My opinion of course
