Math isn't bullying. If you're offended I said Auto's shouldn't be grown indoors that's fine, but it's not bullying. It's backed up by a decade of experience.

Can you link me the source of this information? I have a hard time with such a blanket statement when DLI of photoperiod crops is dependent on strain selection in the first place. Was this an average among several strains? Was it 1 auto vs. 1 Photo of similar or drastically different genetics? Was this in a lab or some dudes closet?

I'm going to need to read the paper on that one. 99% of the marketing targeted towards auto flowers is lies so I take everything said about them with a grain of salt
.
No problem I first saw Shane from Migro post this and he based it off Dr. Bruce Bugbee there is tons of videos about it but this one at 19:30 is a good start or that

I'll say it again, everything that can be done with an auto can be done with a photo, and then some.

Interesting he seems to draw the same conclusion that it's strain specific and that the plant will still benefit from more light it just won't be as efficient at processing that light after a certain threshold. Interesting stuff, that's for sharing.

2011/2012 ish

If the plants grew a cucumber instead of the shit cannabis they grew I might have been happy. At least surprised.
So perhaps you shouldn't keep going on about how autos shouldn't be grown indoors and the fact that it's backed up with a decade of experience.

Also the inverse of your other statement is true. Anything you can do with a photo you can do with an auto.

The issues you constantly see with autos on here is almost entirely poor growing skills, perhaps that's what you experienced last time you tried an auto?

I'm sure that's another well experienced opinion right? Optimal definitely not but not garbage.

Easy for them to get the weight up on the bags. That would have destroyed my pumps and drip lines/manifolds potentially costing me hundreds of dollars. Thankfully the rate at which their nutrients dissolve in water is absolutely atrocious so I used an old bubble bag to strain out the shit that wouldn't dissolve and found this. This is out of maybe a cup of nutrients? I still have the bags.

You found one impurity in a bag? Or did you encounter this in every bag? Mistakes happen.

So if you bought say some Perdue chicken and there was a recall for salmonella you'd call Perdue chicken garbage and never buy it again?

Funny when I google megacrop recalls I don't find one? Weird huh? It's like a company takin responsibility for a fuck up is completely different from one that ignores it.

What is the benefit of growing autos inside? I fucking despise our local electricity carrier, always hiking their rates and coming up with excuses. Last thing I want to do is give them more of my money. And that reason alone is why i wouldn't grow them.
Why not just grow fems?

I've had a few concussions and other hits to the head over the decades but that hammer thing was about the worst. Finally made contact with my birth family about 8 years ago to find out that my birth mother died of dementia at age 75 and was diagnosed at 65. I'm already 67 but so far, so good. A small stroke almost 10 years ago left me foggy for a few years but that seems a lot better these days.

What's making me feel best I think is giving up the booze. Sometime in May will be a year dry. View attachment 5119600

21 years here!

Warm wishes and respect.

I didn't say there was a recall. I said mistakes happen. In order for a recall to happen it would have to happen in entire batch.

So you're saying you had this issue in multiple bags?? You skirted that question pretty well.
