Curling of leaves

INTRO: I’m approximately 3 weeks into my first ever grow and have for the most part haven’t had any problems except a little overwatering.
Currently using a small peat pot and plan on transferring to 5 gallon soon.

PROBLEM:
my plant has recently started curling up it’s first set of true leaves. I’ve only used a bit of nitrogen based nutrients and think it may been too early. Any thoughts? All help is greatly appreciated5583F01B-28D6-4FA9-9F23-FFCD9B9CE88F.jpeg32A7D2FD-1962-422C-967D-37B9872FDC6D.jpeg

I wouldn't do anything just yet. They can grow out of it. Its not easy to tell whats going on at 3-4 weeks. Could be just a bit too cold and or not enough of a root system yet. A transplant to better soil and bigger pot will benefit the sprout. If you think it needs anything start with "baby foods" 0-0-0 kelp, worm casts or compost as top dress or homemade extract.

Seedlings can do some weird shit, but what yours is doing is due to its environment. It looks like your RH is a bit low and I venture to say your watering to often. Let the soil dry out some. There's nothing wrong with the surface soil being dry, it's hydrated towards the middle and bottom still. If you water to often your roots won't grow properly, they need wet/dry phases to properly develop.

That's actually not true. They don't need a dry cycle.

mid last week I read about overwatering and decreased to once it was dry to the second knuckle. Hindsight 20/20 and this has been a great learning experience so far and wanted to see if it was due to Nutrient excess or lack thereof. I'm running around 40% humidity and 73F

I know you get what you pay for, but what kind of nutrient solutions do you reccomend on a budget. currently using miracle grow potting mix
I prefer organics. DTE, Dr. Earth, and even FF has some decent dry amendments for pretty cheap. You can make Miracle Grow work though. My very first grow I used Miracle Grow plant food with soil and it did OK.

When ur cotyledons are yellowing or dying that's a sign of root problems or over watering...you dont have that
I have another plant that has no signs of drooping and is otherwise healthy except for a bit of yellowing of the cotyledons. have noticed it has been growing significantly slower than the other but I just chalked that up to genetic variability. thanks for the info, I've been transitioning to a better watering cycle
