been thinking about this a lot, and stumbled across these things. Its cool they exist.
Yeah that’s like stuff I was thinking about. Mirrors reflecting light and stuff with a big magnifying ball on your roof to catch all the light and funnel it into a grow room… then I see these things! Pretty neat.Reminds me of Indie

I want a couple for my living room that has windows that don't get a ton of light during the day. Also I want one in the kitchen and one for each bathroom. I don't plan on any for the bedrooms. There are some that come solar powered for light at night. You can get a significant federal tax credit if you install those. But they cost more. I'll install them myself as well. It's not a hard job but they want like $500 a light to install for cutting a hole in the roof and ceiling. It's a little more than that but nothing I can't do in a few hours.I have 3 in my house but figures not one is in a spot i could grow in. One above a staircase one above the toilet and one above my bed. If i told the wife im gonna grow in bed shed say its been the same size for decades lol
What is this? Looks extremely dangerous. I contact juggle acrylic balls and leaving them in sun is a big no-no.Yeah that’s like stuff I was thinking about. Those are pretty neat. But the cost is pretty steep.I cant remember the company name but they do fiber optic sun lights that tracks the sun. No big holes in the roof and you can run the cables anywhere you want, within reason.
YES! Work em into the 12/12 or 18/6I've installed a couple of the sun tubes, they're pretty sweet. Growing is the first thing I thought of. I bet they would be awesome as supplemental lighting.
Yeah refracting balls like this are extremely dangerous due to their ability to capture light and refract it into a fine point, like down a tunnels tube. That’s how these things would be engineered. What is this? Looks extremely dangerous. I contact juggle acrylic balls and leaving them in sun is a big no-no.
