my lights are 12/12 from 5pm to 5am and i want to go in there in the day sometimes to work and clean and stuff. what can i use that wont hermie them and is good enough to see well . ive heard green but it seems like u wont be able to see good under green light. and if green is the only kind what kind of green bulb?.....just a plain old bulb with green tint on it ??????anyone know

I've never had a problem with them going hermie if light hit them. Just don't keep the light on for an hour while in there. Just use a typical house light outside of the room shining in.
Before I finished my flower room I had a regular light bulb on the roof I would turn on to do shit in the room and that never affected her at all. She's 4 weeks into flower now and no problems.
I wouldn't stress it to much. Others will tell you not go have any light and not go in there at all until the lights turn on.

if you're in flowering, it's best to get solid green lights..
for parties & whatnot, green colored lights have no effect on them..
that would be the best to use while your plants are resting..
just grab a type A green colored bulb, to use when going in during the day..
it's better safer than sorry

start looking at your buds really close. in a week or two you should start to see all the male pods popping out of the center of your buds. it will just be a single male pod.
there is a male flower in this pic, can you see it?

yep. i showed a few friends my buds. i went in with a lighter lit maybe 3 different times. i was like you and had have never had a problem with it before. the last time though i think i messed things up.

Almost seems like mother nature gave you a couple chances and then finally said no more. lol.
I'll keep that in mind and stay outta my room until the lights go on. I think I may have been lucky so far. (Thank you Mother Nature) She's one of the last people I want to piss off.
My whole theory behind not thinking it mattered was that at night, in an outdoor setting, it's not completely dark with the moon light. Figured same kinda thing with indoor, but since we're creating an artificial set up with optimal conditions, it should react differently.

I s'pose like everything you decide to do, its about cost over reward.
If the slight risk of Hermying you're plants is worth the convenience of entering the room when you want, go for it..... but you know the risks.
Personally I don't think one nana on a bud would worry me too much.
