Weed is growing in my grass.

You will be perpetuating the cycle of seeding by growing those. Even worse is the fact that when those spew pollen they will seed neighbors as well if grown outside.

Be a good neighbor and kill them now.

Toronto area here as well. Had the same thing happen to me, dozens of em popped up over the last couple weeks, but won’t be keeping any.
Gonna have to talk to the neighbours and make sure they’re removing any on their side, lol.
Too many novice gardeners around not knowing how to identify and remove males causing problems.

I agree. Imo, anyone that can't identity a male should not grow in any way. It's bizarre. I knew what a male was 20 years before I considered growing a plant.

The second I though about smoking weed I did an elementary google search of the word "marijuana". Within a few seconds of reading the first article (literally) it explained and showed a picture of a male and female plant. Yet we still have people here multiple times a day that just can't seem to figure it out for some bizarre reason.

It blows my mind that there are people here that have smoked weed for years, and have gone through multiple grows, and they STILL need help sexing a plant.....it's like, what is wrong with your eyes? Did you forget what the last male six months ago looked like? And the one before that?

Am I the only one that did five minutes of research when I was 15? I find it strange, as if I have an interest I will always want to learn about it, even more so if it's a psychoactive drug I'm looking to consume and grow.

This plant I am willing to bet was the product of a hermi. Much harder for new growers to detect and even worse once a new grower get wind of the fact the seeds will be female they feel the absolute need to try those seeds.

I know how to identify males and how to get rid of them ASAP.
Maybe I had a hermaphrodite or maybe pollen arrived from elsewhere - I do not know.
Since I make edibles, I really do not care much about seeds.

What caught my interest is that I thought that marijuana needs warm temps
and was surprised that seeds were already sprouting outside when the temp is not even 10 C.

Cannabis does not care what temperature is needed for germination someone wrote in a cannabis grow book decades ago. There is ideal temperature and then there is the temperature that they will germinate at. I've had cannabis seeds come up in my garden bed in March from scrap I tossed out from seed plants I grew indoors. The temps at the time dropped into the upper 30°F at night and barely got above 50°F during the day. They sprouted and grew all on their own.
