Alot of directions given are for people running CO2 etc. If given supplemental CO2, they can handle the more intense light. If not, keep them further away. Are you sure? I have looked into the hanging height a bit.
I have looked at a few par tests done on YouTube, for the most part they say at 16" high and 100% light intensity you get around a 900 reading in the middle of the tent. (which they say is optimal)
To be on the safe side I raised it another 3"
I really appreciate the feed back !
For two plants I wouldn't even worry about c02 IMO. Especially for 2 plants and your first grow. There is plenty of c02 if you spend time down there.Ahhhh I seee, thanks for the Info I'll have to look into my Co2 levels a little bit.
What I'm talking about is, your average Joe shmo grower with no additive CO2 will grow just fine, but you have to realize the plants cant take the same feeding/light intensity that a CO2 enhanced plant would handle. Hope that makes sense!Ahhhh I seee, thanks for the Info I'll have to look into my Co2 levels a little bit.
Don't worry about CO2, I'm saying by you keeping the light so close, it's increasing the demands on the plants, which you can't support. Make sense?Okay, like I say I really don't know all that much about the whole Co2 thing. There are 4 plants in the tent tho.... I should still be fine?
Exactly what he said, I’m average shmo, just not named joe. What I'm talking about is, your average Joe shmo grower with no additive CO2 will grow just fine, but you have to realize the plants cant take the same feeding/light intensity that a CO2 enhanced plant would handle. Hope that makes sense!
Some times the older ways are most tried and true...... what are you looking for in your touch test ? When determining hanging height.I must be old school. I don't use CO2 and I use the touch test to see how low my lights should be. If anything I'd say slightly over-watering, but looking good other than that.
