That is pretty cool. I've used the (35 gallon) kiddie pools for years. But you have to protect them from the sun or they don't last long at all.View attachment 5120426Last years "pots" were 59 gal landscaping ponds.Home Depot 29.00 ea.
This is what's left of last year's haul.Salsa, and tomatoes and pasta sauce and about 48 quarts of soup. Also corn, beans and squash and peppers still aplenty.Add in my fish and Game and I'm producing about half a years food every season.Ends up costing about 1.00 a quart for good food if you recycle jars .I get about 5 quarts per hour for my troubles.lolNo it’s definitely cool to see. I think I’m just gonna go with recycled 4x4s and deer fence with a make shift gate. I’m gonna do pepper plants by the three as you suggested in 20 gallon pots. I seen a cool technique where you grow tomatoes upside down in a bucket and cucumbers out the top I’m gonna try. I ordered a solar motion light to spook critters. My garden is real close to woods. I been catching the chipmunks and relocating them to the next town over lol. I didn’t realize I had so many until I put the bird feeders out. Think I got one left but he is smarter so far
