Was getting 5.4 pH everytime I mixed ADVANCED NUTRIENTS SENSI COCO PH PERFECT A & B 16 ml each and instead of the normal 16 ml part B I used 22 instead. The result was a rise in the pH to 6.2. The pH held at that level after the addition of 7 amendments. I always mix an equal amount of distilled water to the mixed solution & mix. pH was on 6.2 looking like it wanted be 6.1 but I digress. 1.4 EC after dilution. The only explanation is the product had been tampered with & replaced with water, I HOPE, sure wasn't weed killer lol. So good news with 3 weeks flowering left, at least, before flush. Had faith in Advanced Nutrients but I need 6.2 or so for Bloom. I got my pH pen cleaned up this week & with calibration done & I was mixing. Maybe all of the stress on the plant will make it better. Any thoughts?

Buy ph up?
I am using more P & K with part B making the nitrogen ratio lower in solution with part A. It is crazy man. pH Perfect ain't so perfect. Good idea pH up is the 1st thing I thought. Thought about it a bunch then I said you won't know until you try. And here I am. Yeah pH up is cheap but I get extra P & K along with less nitrogen. Maybe it will taste better. Thanks for the feedback! Cheers!

By cutting back on part A you are also giving your plants less Calcium and Magnesium. "Ph Perfect" doesn't really make your ph perfect, it's more about the chelators which will allow your nutes to be absorbed by the plant even when out of the ideal ph range.

I am screwing up. Am use to realizing that in the last few years. Must be nice to know what you know. I am headed toward 70 years old & memory is a problem, lol. Thanks, might get my RSO 90 plan going after all if I stay out of la la land with my nutes. Got skin cancer on nose arm and knee. So I will get back to label directions. Thanks!

Best of luck with the RSO treatment. I tried it on my father in law some years ago, but he couldn't make it through the program. He was getting too high I think, and he wasn't a stoner. I tried to give it to my Dad when he got cancer, and he never took it, even though he was a stoner. He died earlier this year. My mom just got diagnosed with cancer and I tried to get her to do it too, but she's opting for 5-weeks of chemo/radiation. She is also a stoner. I wish more people would at least try the RSO plan before killing themselves with chemo and radiation.

RSO, I agree, is preferable to chemo and radiation. I remember the impact of my father's death upon me. It was the 1st thing to hit me every single morning. Then the first day that he wasn't the 1st on my mind? Talking about feeling guilty! Try to share your mother's faith in the treatment since she has made up her mind. My mom is 85 & hardheaded, no cannabis for her. Yeah, will be midsummer before I have enough to do the RSO. Takes about 3 pounds to get what you need for a 90 day treatment. I wish your mom good luck. Thanks for caring.

Start asking around for donations. When I was trying to cure my father-in-law, I made a phone call to someone I hadn't spoken to in years, with the last interaction being a "fuck you contest" with that individual, and my quitting a job as a result. When I briefly explained my situation to the guy, he told me to meet him in 15-minutes, which I did. He then drove me up to his grow op, and pointed at two trash bags on the floor and told me to take one. Dude even offered me a job on the ride back. It's amazing how forgiving and helpful people can be sometimes when they see others in need.

It is hard when you have little money & no prospects. Your guardian angel placed it's hand on that dude's shoulder.

I thought with pH perfect you don't check pH cause it's supposed to be perfect
Customer support says you need not check it. Got new AN A & B. Things are correct now. Think I had some of the bootleg Nutes from Amazon. GrowGreenMi is who this batch came from. Mixed A, B & Voodoo Juice for the 1st week of flowering. pH 6.0 ☢ 1.6 EC

Believe the nutrients were bootleg off Amazon. Got new batch at GrowGreenMi. All is great for now..

Sorry about the cancer, I ran ph perfect for a while using ro water and it always came out 5.8 regardless and runoff was always 6.2. I had some issues and switched to jacks 321 but I tested ph constantly and it never changed.

If I ever needed to push it up a little I would dose a bit of silica... like a tiny bit as that shit chases up the pH so fast.

RSO is said to be especially effective on soft tissue cancers like skin etc...

Long time AN user here with about 50 DWC grows under my belt since '01 when I started with the old AN 3-part before pH Perfect. When I finally ran out of my gallon jugs I broke down and tried the Sensi for grow and the Connoisseur for Bloom. I was not impressed and prefer the control I get with the 3-part so went back to that and bought gallon jugs of each.

You really shouldn't mess with the pH of those nutes or it buggers them up. Just accept that the tech works and trust them to do their job. I got to where I never changed nutes at all from clone to harvest and the plants grew just fine adding small amounts of nutes as I went along to keep my ppm in my target range. Never checking the pH and only using RO water.

What makes you think that you need pH 6.2 for flower specifically? With the older nutes I'd top up my tubs every 3 days with RO then test ppm and pH. The pH had usually risen to around 6.2 so I'd knock it back to around 5.4 with a few drops of conc sulphuric acid and in 3 days it was back to 6.2ish. It was always really regular that way. Once I got the new nutes I'd just check ppm and adjust as needed.

We're using RSO around here too. The wife got diagnosed with liver tumours so I got her on it right away and now they have shrunk and/or not growing so it's just a scan every year to keep an eye on them. Her last eye exam to monitor her glaucoma showed her number had dropped well back into the normal range too. My prostate had enlarged to 75cc and after 4 months of taking small doses before the last MRI in August it had shrunk back to 55cc when it was 60 CC at the first MRI 3 years prior. Almost all my urinary problems have also gone.

I've been giving it to a buddy for 4th stage prostate cancer but he seems to be relying more on doctor's meds. I'd be eating that stuff by the teaspoon but he doesn't use much more than I do and I'm on a low dose once every evening. Made some CBD oil that I'm adding to it as CBD fights cancer too. I had a small squamous cell carcinoma removed from my rt. leg 30 years and last year had 3 bits taken off my legs but they turned out to be a type of wart so no cancer there. Pale skinned redhead here in my late 60s so the sunburns I got as a kid keep me watching for these things.

Good luck!

:peace:
