Yesterday's Mass Shooting.

Nothing will change in America on a lot of fronts, until you elect responsible government and that means strong democratic majorities. Until then it will either stay the same or get worse, as with abortion and next condoms.
That is the answer, but getting there through a swamp of American voters choosing to get their news(propaganda)in a bubble w/no objectivity combined w/gutless brand and party over country pols. it's dubious at best. NEVER have I viewed such a despicable rogues gallery of politicians as currently exists and is is so depressing to give thought to. of course there have always been pols. I didn't like, but when chips were down I didn't doubt their patriotism, I can no longer make that statement today and this moment I'm going home to take 2 Xanax, real ones from Pharm. not fentanyl laced cartel knockoffs that are running rampant in the US,another sad and highly depressing story. Incredible, strange, and scary times LED, wish I had more answers than I do questions.

The paradigm has changed more swiftly due to technological advancement however we, as humans, have not..if you are looking to make a change that will count? vote the locals..I'm talking Midterms. Voting from ground up is the way out..you can't build a house that will stand without proper foundation. Social Media is huge driver of Divide and Conquer..pull the plug on all of it..if you want/need to talk come to RIU where is reasonably safe. If you see something scary make sure it's true first by checking two other places.

Do you live in a legal state? If so, I recommend quick action indica gummies instead of the Xanax. A Benzo withdraw is the worse kind in the world. You'll throw away those Xanax when you learn how to use plant medicine- and there is a learning curve to it..I happen to be the local pharmacist in case you have any questions feel free to PM me with the particulars.

Good job on getting it with fentanyl:clap: There are test strips out there that TACO has been handing out free to test your buy. Some people consider it 'drug paraphernalia' and want to put those who hand out free test strips in jail. But what about the places like CVS and Walgreens that sell test strips and charge money for the pleasure?:???:

great post. My only beef with it is that every edible I have tried is not anxiolytic in me but actually anxiogenic. Alcohol is an effective anxiolytic but carries consequences.

I seen all this coming after columbine and the mass vehicle bombings that took place in the Middle East in the beginning on the 2000s. People feed their radical ideologies with more widespread hate and condemnation and think they will be remembered for what acts of violence they inflict. Not only our country but the world as whole is heading for a very dark time. We live in a era where people don’t lend a helping hand or try to prevent something from happening they see it as not there problem. We all live in close minded worlds that we believe can’t be effected by acts of violence committed on the news but everyday those acts hit closer and closer to home when one day it’ll literally effect one in every two people. Look at the Arab summer when all of the protesting and revolting took place and regime changes took place it got better for that moment then reality set in and they realized they’ve just swapped one dictator or insignificant political leader for another. These shootings only represent our ignorance and self depravation that we’ve let consume this country. I don’t agree with China about mostly anything but I do agree we should adopt and modify there gun ownership laws. I believe you should be able to own any firearm you want as long as you can pass a psychological exam every two years have no far leaning ideologies that are extreme leaning towards violence have no criminal record. It’s only weeding out the crazy and prone to violent offenders. No one politician is going to change our stances on this issue no one president or group it has to be all of us and the shame of it is that’ll never happen. We thrive on separation and disagreements. It’s embarrassing to call our selves Americans who live in a free world when we act and live like we are mid evil fucking Russia just wasting life as if it’s nothing and casting aside till the next violent act is committed. Why do we not talk about Vegas or parkland or sandy hook or Colorado theater everyday because in truth nobody really cares and that’s a shame I remember when Columbine happened it was all people could talk about for a long time even after seeing other shootings started to happen in mid 000 years. It’s just like 9/11 and why people don’t understand the severity of what is happening we are a modern day cesspool. Sorry for ranting. God stand with the families of those effected by this tragedy and hold them up in this time of despair even the family of the perpetrator because he is also lost and broken now. may god stand with us all in time and help us through this whatever god you believe in.

Perhaps you are giving too much credence to the ability of psychologists to decide which gun owners are liable to commit mass murders.

I don't know why we need to invent something new. There are plenty of examples of countries that are similar to the US where people can own guns if they want and don't have high rates of gun homicides or regular instances of mass murders by lone wolf gunmen.

At least take away separate state policies and put it all under one federal doctrine that way you can’t just drive to Kentucky buy a gun at a convention and drive it to Ohio and shoot people you at least would have to go through the same system as everybody in every state and can’t have people slipping through the cracks. Which I understand you would still have but could help prevent even one mass shooting

Vote Republicans out before that or anything like that can happen. Given the state of the Supreme Court, we might need to amend the constitution too. Somehow, the part where the 2A says "well regulated militia" has become interpreted as unregulated gun ownership.

I'd be happy if we started an earnest study into what works in other countries and how it can be implemented here. Give our lawmakers something to work with that is based upon practical experience instead of playing political games with people's lives.

In fairness, back in the day a well-regulated militia meant “can take orders and can use a firearm effectively.” The relevance to what we today call regulated is not good.

I'm looking at the words "well regulated" and taking them at face value. Silly me. I'd make a terrible lawyer.

A quarter millennium ago they meant something else.
I think it is important to factor that in, modern interpretations be damned.

If you can make a gun go boom, you can make a landmine.

We are in the infancy of 3d printing. Before long they will be able to print on a molecular level. That means drug labs, bio weapons labs, nerve agents, the whole works. They will be regulated, and there will be those that operate on the black market.

You can't just throw your hands up and say fuck it.

Or you could.

We shall see.
Why's the world gotta be all shitty. Why can't we just have star trek replicators to make pizza. Have to to make it all death and destruction.

I would gladly live there maybe it’ll be in the new marvel multiverse movie and we can open up a conspiracy of the multiverse thread.

Why should what slavers who restricted the right to vote to white land owners intended should matter today? There was a lot of wisdom embodied in the constitution but it was deliberately written so that it could be interpreted by the generations that followed according to the times. The courts are going to be problematic for any legislation regarding gun control for at least the next 20 years, so there is only one path forward assuming the will of this nation changes when it comes to reducing high rates of homicides and mass murders that are enabled by easy access to high powered killing machines.

Assuming this country doesn't go the way Republicans intend (and they end our democracy as we know it), it's my guess that we will need to pass two more amendments to end the culture wars they continue to inflict upon the majority. One to protect women's right to control her own body and another that gives more leeway to actually regulate that militia in modern terms.

But I don't want to jump to solutions without better understanding of what works and what does not work. The objective is to reduce homicides and mass murders, not take away guns from people who will do no harm.

Canada and America have very strict drone laws and to fly anything over 250gm requires a license and the craft must be registered and soon will have to carry a radio ID transceiver. I don't like it, but I understand why, even though people who do this kind of shit don't register the drone and most likely are not licensed to fly.

Here is some fun on the farm with a small foam plane that costs less than $200 decked out and could carry enough plastic explosive to do real damage. This is what people normally do with these things, cheap thrills and a fun challenge. Unlike a gun, it's primary purpose is not as a weapon, though it could make a very effective one. After this war I expect things to get even worse for the RC plane and drone community in Canada. Anybody can order this shit online from China for cheap or make it themselves and nobody planning illegal shit will register it! The drone in the news story could have been bought or made from common parts and a few 3D printed ones.
