Lets hook up @Lenin1917 & @OldMedUser

I'm brand new, I need this! :p
Thanks for the mention but my 40 yo Hanna pen still works fine and I got a newer one for doing my colloidal silver with a couple years ago so I'll stay out and leave it for someone that could use a new one.

Now if it was a decent LED light I'd crawl over someone's dead grandmother to get a shot at that! :D The same for a bigger tent as it's getting crowded in the 2x4 and still have 6 more clones to pot up.

Good luck all! circle.gif

@Star Dog

Thanks for the heads up buddy! Don’t have anything growing apart from a couple autos outdoors. See how they do in Scotland’s famous sunny summers… lol

How far north are you? I'm at 56N in Alberta and my autos did great last summer here and hopefully even better this year as they will be in a better spot for more sun. Didn't get them into the ground until June 29 and they were chopped Sept. 11 just 4 days ahead of the first snow and killer frost. Going for 6 this year in the new raised bed and some hemp autos in last year's spot.

Fan leaves removed the day before they got chopped. The middle one is an unrelated hemp auto.

Good luck with yours!

56 here as well lol Just subjected to 2500 miles of ocean which often is the prevailing wind.

They are beasts dude! Our Augusts are usually wet so have to be in pots to be put out of the rain.

What kind of temps are typical in alberta July/august?

Looking for mold resistant strains is what I’m doing now. Want me them fluffy buds for once xD

Our Augusts are usually dry other than thundershowers that drop 3" of rain in 5 min then are gone and it's sunny and hot again. Last year we had two 'heat domes' where we got over 40C and it hung around for over a week each time. The plants seemed to love it and grew like crazy when it was that hot. -38.1C is the lowest temp we've had since buying this place almost 20 years ago.

I rigged up some poles to attach a tarp in a hurry to keep the heavy rains off them near the end. If you're going to go with pots use something like 10gal/40L to get them as big as you can. I grew one in a 4gal pot and it wasn't half the yield the two in the ground produced. I had planned to plant around the middle of June but it turned wet and cold so didn't get them in the ground until the 29th. They had been sprouted in 3" pots and were getting a bit rootbound by the time they went in the soil and that's not great for autos.

I'm of Scottish descent so it's on my bucket list of one of the first places to go should I ever travel out of north America. Love to buy a used caravan and live in it for a year whilst travelling all over but will have to get a winning lotto ticket first I think. :)
