Drip Tray sizing

I want to use a heavy duty tray and tilt it to the front slightly to vacuum up run off easily.

The inside dimensions of the frame on my 3x3 tent are slightly under 34" but trays are 36".

Is there a 34"x 34" tray even made?

Not sure but you could get 2 smaller trays and line them up.

personally I use a drip tray that I elevate and have fitted a bulk head into the tray for the runoff to go straight into a catch pan.

Then I just remove and empty the catch pan every couple of days.

You don't really want a tray to be the same size as your floor. It takes up space for fans and whatever, along with stepping / crawling room. You have to use a lot more water if you plan to flood it. Stuff falls into it, and it's harder to clean inside / around / beneath.

You want the tray to be the size of the pots, not the canopy. 3' OD in a 4' plot would be fine.

My bad, you have a 3x3. The original post is also pretty old. But a 2' ID for a 3" plot would work. I used to use them in a 6x6 tent.

They are just basic Garland trays.

but I’m in the U.K. so you may not get them from the same place.

but each of my trays was approx £10/$13

Sometimes you can cut the sides off your trays. Shaves a few inches off each side and let it fit the tent. Like a 3x3 tray is probably like 30" inside width when you cut the edges off.

Here's some trays I did for a buddy. See how there's no longer a lip on the tray? Just run the tray through a table saw. I had to do these 4x8 with a Circular saw though. Smaller trays are easier on the table saw.

If youre in need of cheap trays, search up under-bed storage totes, i use 2x 40" trays in a 4x4, $15 ea instead of $100+, Also, try "bus trays", as in the worker who busses your table. Heavy duty trays in multiple sizes, smaller but taller generally..
