Yep I agree. It could possibly be linked but usually leaf edge roll up from humidity/heat issues is usually more pronounced in the edge of the leaf.heat, wind burn, low humidity, etc. can all make leaves curl
Factor in low heat and low humidity with close lights and you’ll get that weird twist their trying to do I have to battle it with the 650 rspec lights at the beginning of every grow of you dial in your room better it’ll go awayYep I agree. Light too close and usually you’ll get the leaf curling slightly down to shy away from the light so to speak.
wind burn usually it’s a very slight edge curl up usually progressing to drying out of the whole leaf at which point it all begins to curl up from edges.
I’m not saying it’s definitely russet or broad mites. He asked if what he was seeing looked like mites and I said could be russet mite.
It may or may notI can't think of anything else that would cause that kind of leaf curl
I sprayed some Pylon that a friend let me use on there 3 days ago...but I don't think that would cause that
Asked a friend of mine and they said this would fix it if it was a Russet mite issues, figured it'll be out of it's system in 60+ daysIt may or may not
Why spray cannabis with Pylon?
Pylon is an insecticide specifically for ornamental plants, not edible crops.
Good luck, you're far braver than I am.Asked a friend of mine and they said this would fix it if it was a Russet mite issues, figured it'll be out of it's system in 60+ days
Going to try that, thanksI would bring up my temp by like four or five degrees and my humidity up by like five or ten percent and should work better for you with that low humidity your top leafs won’t hold as much moisture and dry out quicker than the bottom shaded leafs and get hotter as they’re taking the most intense light do that and raise your light a couple inches and it’ll go away
For russets, all you need is sulfur dust or citric acid. Both shouldnt cost more than $10. and work better than any toxic stuff.Asked a friend of mine and they said this would fix it if it was a Russet mite issues, figured it'll be out of it's system in 60+ days
I have some lost coast and Purecrop1, I think both of them have citric acid in there. I'll give it a shotFor russets, all you need is sulfur dust or citric acid. Both shouldnt cost more than $10. and work better than any toxic stuff.
Lots of heat I put my drivers outside my room to offset itGoing to try that, thanks
The 650r produces that much heat?
Wouldn't it that act like a horticulture oil? don't want it to leave a film, might burnIf still in veg and you think you have bugs get dr. Bonner's peppermint soap use 1 to 5tbls a gallon of ro or tap set for 24hrs. Saturate fronts and backs of leaves. I only use 1tbls per gallon the peppermint smell is a pest repellent and the soap will kill pests if they are saturated. I use that on all my outdoor plants. It's not 100% at repelling but I can tell a difference in from when I didn't use it. I will even continue to use it in flower by saturating leaves in my hand that aren't close to buds or wont drip on buds. I'll also spray top soil and cloth pots during flower. Of course no bud need to be sprayed. Use a hand held sprayer on mist. The sprayers are cheaper at harbor freight. Needless information but if you ever have stalk or stem mold I'll use that same mix but turn sprayer to stream instead of mist and just shoot the mold off.

Sprayer
Of course only spray plants before lights on atleast 30 mins or after lights off. And if you have bugs ever dont be afraid to saturate the hell out of everything on that plant top to bottom front to back. Meaning dont just spray infected leaves get the entire plant as mentioned I'll saturate outdoor plants every 3 to 5 days throughout veg rather I have bugs or not
It'll act nothing like neem oilWould it that act like a horticulture oil?

Have you tried this for Russet/Broad mites? It'll act nothing like neem oil
Insecticidal soap is a non-toxic soap that controls insects by suffocating them or drying out their protective coats. Neem oil has low toxicity and interferes with insects' hormones by affecting their ability to eat, grow, and reproduce. Neem oil combines insecticide, miticide, and fungicide in one solution, and has multiple uses.
Neem oil also hurts soil biology if you use organic soil or amendments over liquids. I dont think spraying leaves matter referring to root drenches
I haven't that I know of. I don't look to see what pests I'm spraying. Just saturate my plants and forget about it.Have you tried this for Russet/Broad mites?
Neem Oil or Dr. Bronners will do absolutely nothing for Russet MitesHave you tried this for Russet/Broad mites?
I don't think so either, maybe other bugs but not these mf'ersNeem Oil or Dr. Bronners will do absolutely nothing for Russet Mites
