Best drying conditions

Hey I have a orange sherbet auto that is in the harvest window. In my past grows my plants have dried too quickly probably due to my hot environment. What drying conditions should I aim for?

Every plant is different, dense buds obviously take longer, branch size, air movement, temp, rh, etc.

At least a week, ideally longer

Temp 62°F-68°F Inline fan on lowest setting, small fan pointed down and away, ink bird set at 70% humidity. That will get me 10-14 days. You can try various things like covering dry room windows to help keep room cooler. Longer dry, longer cure, better bud

Shoot for a 10 day minimum dry. Mine went 10 days last time at 70 deg and 55% RH and turned out perfect, so just try to get within range to stretch out the dry. New growers should concentrate on drying without drying too fast but also without letting them mold, just try your best to get them to the finish line safely. Some new growers try to stretch out the dry too long with high RH and end up with moldy buds. Over dried buds are always better than moldy buds.

I'll add dont go off our temps or humidity. Everyone can have differing environment conditions. Use suggestions as a base to go off of. May take a dry or 2 or 3 to get everything dialed in correctly. Just want 7 to 14 days longer the better, trying for atleast 10 days imo. Will need to adjust your set up accordingly

The more stalk & leaves the more water content. That will help you NOT dry too fast.

Edit: If the nugs are pretty fat.. they may take longer than 14 days in cold (60-65F)/humid conditions (60-65% humidity)
I dealt with this my last crop. took 19 days to dry the larger colas.

I live in 7% humidity and wet trim using humidity constant at a certain level plants will dry accordingly. I used to dry trim, also much easier to wet trim with leaves still sticking out not curled into buds

I’d wait. Nothing to sacrifice if you give more time, but on the flip side.. you miss out if taken down too early. Patience is key. She’ll reward you in the end.
