Main stem rot - help

Hi guys, the other day I noticed some white froth at the base of the stem (right next to the coco)

The stem felt a bit soft in that area so I scraped it away and sprayed with hydrogen peroxide

I have noticed there is a bit more. I have brushed away some of the coco and cut out as much of the infected area and again brushed with hydrogen peroxide and then put ground cinnamon ontop (heard it's a natural fungicide)

Other than this, the plant otherwise looks healthy

Any ideas on how else to stop it or fix permanently?

How does it looked like before you brushed it away like a mad man?

Unfortunately didn't get a pic before hand. It was basically just dark green which was very soft and had smelt like smelly socks

The scraping looks quite severe, although very minimal in comparison to overall size of trunk and plant still relatively healthy

Just wanting to curb the spread as I still have another 6 weeks to go

What does the other side of her stalk look like?
Other side looks pretty good, was a little soft the other day but hasn't returned in that area so left it

The side I scraped quite heavily appeared to have the mushy part spread so tried best to cut the brown smelly parts out

I would stop messing with it. It will either harden over and survive or it will continue to spread, but there is nothing you can do to help at this point. Good luck! Plants are strong, it might make it yet.

That's am unusual one?

I've only seen rot on a stem once but the plant went downhill rapidly through the course of the day.

If your growth is good idk what to make of it but I'd expect it to be ok.
Keep us updated?

Best try to figure out exactly what it is that’s causing this. Otherwise just treating it by scraping isn’t likely to stop it from progressing.

Yeah figured out what caused it. First time using hydro halos. So the coco at the base of the stem didn't naturally settle (like it does with hand watering). Combined with high humidity over the course of a few days

Doesn't look like any root rot as the plant it otherwise healthy
