Are these autos worth saving??

Hello all, I need some advice from someone with more experience than myself, specifically with autos and indoor grows.
The 2 girls pictured are CDLC autos from Mephisto. I started them 42 days ago in FF Light Warrior and they did very poorly. I know I didn’t overwater, my HLG 320 LED was running at about 70% and 32” above the seedlings. For whatever reason they didn’t grow and I almost tossed them.
At the 20 day mark I decided to transplant….one went into Ocean Forest (with EWC and more perlite) while the other went into a more inert soil which I added Grow Dots, EWC and more perlite.
They immediately took off and grew fast and bushy.
The problem was I had basically lost the first 3 weeks of veg and within a week or so they started pre-flowering.
I didn’t expect much but I gave them some LST and kept them while I started some other seeds.
My question is are they worth keeping and taking up space in my grow closet??
They appear healthy and the stems and stalks are thick and sturdy. Could they grow some decent sized buds?
And finally, I can’t figure out if they have went through their stretch or if they’ll get any taller……
I can only support 3, maybe 4 plants in my 2.5’ X 6.5’ space and I have several 2-3 week old autos that are looking good.
What does everyone think??
I’m more interested in quality than quantity…..but at the same time I AA7A8403-0381-4373-8DF4-DE333AD1C61A.jpegA64E7C0C-AE04-4C7F-B904-37DBDC102F69.jpegdon’t wanna baby these girls for the next 6-8 weeks and end up with 20 grams of dried bud. thanks for the input.

Well they're not going to yeild like crazy but I wouldn't toss those plants they look fine now, depending on your strain it could still end up much taller and filling out. With less branches you should get nicer sized colas to make up some of the difference. I'd rather have 6nice ripe colas then a bag of larf anyways

I wouldnt throw them. Cdlc throws huge monster colas. They will grow a good bit more before they stop stretching and if your dialed in you can still get a couple of ozs off of each.

Let them grow for another 60 days, they'll each yield at least an ounce bro. Creme chem takes 85 days always +10 days onto what the breeder or seed website says in my experience.

I started growing Autos and went back to Photos immediately. There is too much morphology between seeds and photoperiod plants are cloneable which is a absolute must for me. Clones end up taking the same amount of time if not less than autoflowers anyways..

Thanks for the advice. Would you leave them in the 3 gal pots or move them to a bigger container? The larger of the two has the thickest base I’ve seen on such a small plant….I don’t want them to run out of space and wouldn’t want to transplant much later into flowering.

Autos do seem to have unusually thick and rigid branches. I’ve snapped a couple doing lst which never happens on photos.

I vote let them run too. I had a few around that size and got over an ounce. If they don’t grow taller in the next week or two then I’d consider maybe starting over.

So it sounds like you’ve got some experience with this strain??
I’m at about day 61-62 and things are looking pretty decent…..I gave one of the two plants away, so I only have the one.
The only concern of mine is the fact that the buds have no smell……as in zero stank.
They are getting super sticky and the trichs are coming on strong. But for some reason they smell like nothing…..
Any thoughts?? Do u think they’ll eventually have a good strong odor??
For the record, they’re in Ocean Forest and I’ve top dressed with Gaia Green, EWC, and given some kelp meal tea and silica.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

I had a Bubble Runtz by Tastebudz have absolutely no smell until the last 2 weeks of bloom, then it blasted out some gelato smelling oils and was fire. I think your plant just needs more time to ripen dude. Sometimes the buds do not smell on plants until later on. Genetics.

I wanted to give a quick update on my stunted Creme de la Chem. Back some time ago you posted that the strain would typically be ready in 85days…..of course different variables will influence this.
Anyway, today is day 74 and I am really impressed with the bud development so far. They’re super frosty and just beginning to fatten up.
I’m lousy at predicting how many days are left until ripe, so I hesitate to try. But if I had to guess I’d say 3 more weeks….???
It’s a bummer that I stunted them as seedlings but once they got going they did OK.
For the record, it’s a very simple grow….transplanted seedlings into 100% Ocean Forest amended w/ EWC and extra perlite.
After 3 weeks of only water and silica, I top dressed with Gaia Green 2-8-4…..about half the suggested amount.
Then 3 weeks later, about 10 days ago, I top dressed with more Ocean Forest, EWC, and myco.
My fans are turning color kinda fast and I’m thinking of another light top dress for the next watering……
Whatta ya think? I will say they are starting ti smell and it’s an odd aroma. I’d compare it to morning breath of a rotten teeth homeless guy right after he downed a fruit smoothie.
thanks to all that reply. 3A20235F-FA67-406A-A3DD-1798A52216A3.jpeg8D60BC1D-9DF1-44BA-ADF2-3CDE5C326DEE.jpegE608280C-81E8-43EE-9D93-EA3C91042B84.jpeg
