Yea, I wouldn't go as far a dumping a bag of craft blend for a top dress. Lol
I think Craft Blend is milder. This was my first time trying the DTE 4-4-4 and 4-8-3.

I've been going easier on the Craft Blend since it's got quite a bit of Ca in it. I am going to add some Craft Blend to an ammended pot of no-till though soon. I just got 4 bags of peat moss to start adding to the pots when I remix them. The moss that was in there is basically compost now.

I only needed a bag, but after shipping it made sense to max it out. 4 bags was only $13 shipping, so I paid like $50 for 4 bags.

I used dte rose and flower last run. I wasnt real impressed with it, but I let the fucking plant get too big, and she was light stressed, so that isn't really a fair analysis by me. I still have some, and I'll try it again on a much smaller plant. I'm done with growing big. It's too much work and I don't need that much.

Ya, I'm not trying very hard either right now. But I'm still experimenting. I've got more than enough already.

You can get faster results if you Pre Activate your top dressing by mixing the Dr. Earth with a cup or two of compost/EWC and wet it a few days before you apply it.

You can get a more gradual release of the dry fertilizers if you mix them with a half gallon or so of soil and aeration (maybe more for a big pot and lots of dry nutes) then add that to your pots.
