Black Bud (aka is my bud a Demogorgon)

Greetings All,
I was hoping someone would be kind enough to tell me if this bud is safe to vape/smoke or not.

Background:OG Kush crossed with something.Dried very slowly (about a week) with higher than desired RH but with a fan moving air and light on.Trim did not show any issues at all.
Current:
It was put in mason jars immediately with a few humidity packs.
Here is what I did wrong: 1) packed it way too tightly 2) did not burp it enough.
The buddy is very dry and does not have any bad smells.
It doesn’t have any white mildew or anything like that.
The jars that they were kept it do not have any residual black on the glass, etc.
I have never in my life see bud and leaves this black so I have no idea what's up. I just don't want to get a Demogorgon in my lungs
Any help would be more than appreciated.

with high humidity, it could be mold... I wouldn't but that's me.

black mold is my thought
was it black when it went in the jar? if not hard pass... green to black cant be good.

Yipes

Mold generally has a funky smell and a foul taste.

If it smells good it may be worth a try but mold seems likely based on your description.

You dried with a light on? In humid weather? Yeeps. That could make your bud brown and black. Duno never heard of that one before.
Those are some awful pics. Would be easier to zoom in and see what's up with better pics.

It was green and normal when I trimmed it. I only had a single fluorescent light and fan on during drying. It smells fine. I’m wondering if it being packed tightly caused the terps to turn into rosin (not that I’m grasping at straws or anything).

That's often my guiding light.

If it was bright green and went to that color I would be a bit hesitant...but if that's what you have it's what you have. If it was already dark purple then got a bit darker I wouldn't worry, but green to blackish is weird and I would assume some sort of mold.
