Do nitrogen deficiencies ever correct themselves in the leaves affected?

Hopefully this makes sense.

When your leaves turn yellow due to N. deficiency, if once you've added nitrogen to your medium, do the leaves that turned yellow ever get their green colour back? Or does the plant just continue growing upwards forgetting about the leaves who turned yellow?

Yes,you'll see green from the base work towards the tips.

Yeah usually top down, lower leaves aren't that useful anyways just pluck them off.

Well I'm not gonna pluck them off as they're only 20 days old and I really don't know what I'm doing.

But I noticed they did appear to sort of stop growing, and the leaves turned yellow. Put some granular fertilizer on top of the soil and now they seem to be growing, not sure if the yellow leaves have 'fixed' themselves, but it sort of looks like they have. Or at least looks like they're beginning to.

ah right, thats cool, i have herd of growers putting ghemical ferts on as top dressing was why i asked, chem ferts are ment to be desolved and watered into the soil.
so great, that looks like a wonderfull product, god luck and happy growing

The answer is no, not usually. Giving N will stop the yellowing from spreading up the plant but yellow leaves usually do not green back up

This is what appears to be happening, there's an explosion of growth at the top but there doesn't seem to be any change in the yellow leaves, at least not right now anyways

No. If you have nitrogen deficiency it will yellow from the bottom 1st and move its way up the plant.

The lower leaves that turn yellow won't turn green again. The new growth will be green and the yellowing will stop moving up the plant if the deficiency is corrected
