I have posted many pics of my grows over the last 14 years on RIU.......and I certainly don't need to prove anything to you.

Thats a nice grow, I haven’t seen many journals that are layed out with eachgrow phase all the way til end. I thought photo period plants need 2 months of veg but you flipped 4 weeks into veg, I was thinking the whole cycle needed to be 4 months minimally. That’s why I am doing autoflowers soon, to do seed to harvest in 60 to 75 days. I might have to try flowering a couple of my young ones early like you did, see what happens.

Get your facts straight my friend.
I only feed once a day in veg and twice a day in flower.
I never check my run off and my plants are perfect from start to finish.
If you feed your plants properly there is no reason to check your run off.........that's hardly useless advice.
How many grows do you have under your belt my friend?

its been answered everyones just showing their lay out with and without checking and some info on EC or nutes and its all helpful. its up to one if they want to argue about it but if they leave it at that i think this thread is alright. posted pics of my garden too, doesnt look too bad.

Too many "authorities" on this site, who don't understand what the fuck they're talking about, and then post their shitty grows as some soft of proof of knowledge. Ridiculous.

lmao sorry but growing being an art more than it is factual, that IS how you validate a growers skills and claims. dead plants = bad advice. That’s how I see it, anything else is great to know if you have end result input with pictures and series of them

correction, if it lives and yields something we see and think wow that had to be a nice smoke and yield, then yes, with a series of them showing consistant results otherwise i agree that things are being made difficult if the garden is happy but a thread like this is the best i read vs what i tried to find researching. got to see Mick Fosters’s lovely grow and a few others with and without checking runoff so my questions have been answered and i am happy and hope others are too that wondered, after all, this is the newbie section, isn’t it? lol

true scientist have a certain attitude thats science is more of a practice and outcome, like medical practice, has much progress to make. science is performed in a certain way that includes input, control and outcome and conclusion. all which seem to vary and this thread helps bind that into one place to help new growers not sweat it but do post pics of dying plants to save them as, this being so factual why cant anyone follow one grow bible and not have ANY problems EVER? lol

Checking runoff in coco is like checking your air tire pressure before every drive; sure, it doesn't hurt but it's a somewhat waste of time and also redundant. ..you can tell a tire is low by just looking at it. Consequently, you can also tell a plant "needs something" by its response to inputs. Like for real, it's not hard, even for a beginner.

As stated a bunch of times, just put in the right pH and EC to "substantial" runoff, and that's it. It'll be right.

yes and if they are dying i dont see anything wrong to start a new thread and welcome others to help, as stated myself a few times now, this helped me a ton not to sweat it and to keep moving along. trying a couple other things on other plants to test some things here but thats it. only reason i posted was because i noticed no one had this issue or never checked in the first place. all my plants are short EC in runoff, dont hear that often. or at all.

I just got new tires on my motorcycle, and rode for a day. It felt ok, and got the best mileage it's ever gotten. I decided to check the PSI, and discovered that the shop had inflated the tires 10+ above the spec PSI. Even the pros make mistakes, so it's good to check your own facts.

Because the way you grow has a lot to do with your environment. If you were in a completely controlled environment, then there could be just one grow bible.

thats whats going on here, you either add 100 EC points or subtract and no more or less than 300 points. if some advice here might actually help solve my current issues if they persist all of which is not on the grow bible. thats why its hard to make a point stick on my behalf, all you see is a few pics that sum up my wentire expirience, notice how i never say, “ i never had this issue” and terms of that sort, because i dont really have any expirience. these guys here do though evidently lol

I gave you advice early on, I suggested that you raise your EC and/or increase your watering intervals.

Speaking of runoff, I finally got my runoff system automated. I used a table for years, but then wanted more headroom, so wash just shopvacing out of a tiny res under the pots. I finally got some cool crain trays and a condensate pump to send runoff out the tent into a bucket.
