Blueberry Cheesecake skunk smell 3 weeks into Veg. Giant fan leaves.

I already topped her but her leaves came out with each blade folded in half and as it grew bigger would unfold. The leaves are huge already only 3 weeks into Veg phase.

When I cut her lower branches the skunk smell was very strong. I only smelled the other plants I grew when they were flowering not in Vegetative phase.
She's probably going to wreck my carbon filter. Lolol

Also noticed seems she's having issues holding her giant leaves up. I watered 1/2 gal yesterday. Tent was bit warm cause of heat wave and my AC not keeping up well so it got 83F in there. I had a fan blowing over the canopy and it's venting heat out the window.

Regular seed I'm guessing. You mention skunk like it's a surprise. Not in the list of genetics? Early leaves are fan leaves which can be big. With some indicas leaves stay big longer.

The plant in the pic attached is at 6 weeks and has been topped twice. Leaves are still big but some are starting to look thinner. I'm expecting more body hit than mind because of the in-da-couch tendencies. This plant is about 3 feet tall at 7 weeks (outside plant).

Blueberry Cheesecake (Blue Cheese) might not give you as much couch lock as you are expecting. It gives you a great buzz but it's not like other indica dominant hybrids. You can smoke a full cone and still go out and do shit. Rockstar is one example of an indica dominant hybrid that would put you on the sofa far faster than does the B.C.

And when they have been cured the flowers should smell like a basket of blueberries.

She looks really healthy. I cant grow outside because im in a neighborhood. Have to hide it from view per VA law so Im using the future baby nursery room as a grow room lol.

Its a feminised seed from Femaleseeds.nl. She supposed to lean Sativa I believe 70%. Is one of 4 freebie seeds from Seedsman order last year. 1st one damped off. This one seemed it may croak but she survived.

I had a female skunk last year she had giant leaves too and I fimmed her. She did get very invasive to the other neighbors and I had to lollipop her. Luckily the FIM created 12 colas with one central one. The buds were all about the same size.20211231_055715 (1).jpg

My Purple Kush DWC last grow. Almost like it was grown outside lol. She was 50" tall and 2ft X 3 ft wide. Was unreal. My first DWC.
Was going to do 4 DWC this grow but I went back to organic soil cause its summer and didnt want to deal with heat issues in DWC.
This grow should be done by end August. Then Sept I'll fire up the next grow and use DWC the whole grow

Looks nice and neat there. Are they in a tent? My tent has one 10" hole at top and two duct holes at bottom. I feed air from the top and move it back out with the small duct fans. My tent is 4x4 HPS for flower. I use several nutrients too. Good luck grower!

Thanks. Yeah it's a 4x4x7 grow tent. I'm using passive from the vents in the bottom with an AC Infinity 6" exhaust fan w carbon filter vented out the window.
I'm using homemade organic soil. I put too much N in it this time. Luckily Blue Dream requires 2X the amount of Nitrogen. She eats it up from what I've read and there's no shortage.
I'm running 4 different strains this grow. Just trying to find tge sweet spot for all 4 if I can.

The Blueberry Cheesecake in the back right has 9" long fan leaves. I hope they don't get much bigger lol.

Good luck to you too grower.

What a nice setup. I see the unused vent holes that you should consider putting input and output fans in. Good selection on your beans too!

I have an AC Infinity 4" fan. I was thinking of putting it in one if the bottom ports. I think I can connect it to the others controller so they can coordinate together. Right now it's just passive and I have a fan blowing fresh AC cooled air into the room.

Ok so I found a nice site that you can search strains and they list all the breeders so you can find your strain.
I found the Blueberry Cheesecake and its spot on.
They selected a really smelly mother plant to breed the seeds.
That explains the smell already only 6 wks from seed.

Only thing Im going have an issue is there 2 phenos.
One is short bushy indica other is less leafy Sativa that triples in height.
Shes already 16" now and the highest I can go in the tent is 48"

So Im going to have to flip these babies probably next week or do a lot of supercropping and tying down.blueberry.png
