Snapped main stem?

New grower. So I was low stress training/& supercropping my plant. It is on its 4th leaf set. When I was bending the stems I snapped the main stem. I snapped it pretty good. It was hanging by some fibers and I grabbed some wet paper towel to patch it. I hope I don’t lose my leaves above the break. I assume it will live but what will this do? Is it ok if I did lose the top above the break?

The plant will survive, the top is questionable. You'll know within a few hours. Worse case scenario, you've topped your plant.

Just put it back as close as possible to original and wrap with tape
This works. I once had a tomato plant split completely in half due to the weight of its fruit. I wrapped it as tightly as I could with twine and it completely healed. Nothing even happened to the tomato’s, all worked out 100%!

If it’s an auto plant it’ll probably freak out and go into flower. They’re so sensitive.

Stick it in a cup of water & train the remaining branches back. Might as well take a goof up & use it to increase your yield.
check the water in a day or 2 and add more water. After 10-14 days depending how thick the stalk is you should have roots. It’s a crap shoot with thicker stems.. may take longer. Once you do see roots.. get it in a pot of soil & now you have 2 plants.
