There are a bunch of different tutorials if you google “convert a portable ac to a dual hose.” Looks like some companies even sell conversion kits

What I did was mix up a really concentrated stain. About 50/50 linseed oil to mineral spirits and sprayed my wooden privacy fence. It took weeks to dry, smelled like strong stain, covered the stench of weed. You can even reapply ever few weeks with a pump sprayer to keep the smell going.

I'm legal, but was more worried about rippers than neighbors. On a hot humid day you could easily smell it 100 yards away.
