Hello, I need some help please as a first time grower I just bought an ac infinity cloud line t6 and i am using it as an outtake to remove hot air from inside the camp. should i buy another cloud line t6 or the s6 instead for intake ?

yes i ment tent haha, i have a 4x4 tent at the moment im using the t6 as an outtake not an intake, that is why im thinking to buy another t6 or the s6 to be used as an intake for fresh air

You can connect two fans to the one T6 controller, both will be controlled the same.

TBH I wouldn't bother with an intake fan in a 4x4 unless circumstances demand it.

It won’t make any difference, the limiting factor is the air volume moved by the exhaust which will be restricted with a filter on it. The only reason to use an intake fan in a 4x4 would be if you were having to pull air from far away or through obstructions, just having sufficient vents open on the tent will suffice.

hope this helps

try using clip on fans for good circulation, also having ur intake above canopy height helps as cold air and co2 both sink so you pour fresh air through your canopy rather than drag it underneath and up the walls

I have a 4” powered intake that I only use if I’m pulling from outside in the colder months. Other than that the bottom vents being open do the job with extraction running.

edit: save the cash on another Fan & put it towards a window AC (If applicable)

due to my room is big and only had space for 4x4 away from the only window i have, not a lot of fresh air coming in

I wouldn’t worry about it, the air in your room will more than suffice, unless the air in your room is much hotter than would be desired to maintain temps in ur tent

at the moment it's hot as hell in my country, il try to make the T6 as an intake then but need to buy a net due insects/any dirt from outside.

thank you all for the help and opinions <3

yeah the room is really hot as well
Save the money on the intake fan and buy a bigger exhaust fan then mate, honestly the intake will be a waste of money. The only reason to use one would be if you were having to supplement the pressure of the exhaust to drag air through restrictions like small ducts and hepa filters.

edit: or as mentioned above use it towards an ac unit

Do you mean to buy a bigger exhaust fan like the cloudline T8 for example, and leave the cloudline t6 as an intake for fresh air ?

I would send the t6 back and get the t8 if ur temps are a problem.

lets brainstorm
What light are u using?
What is the temps like in the room? What’s the temps like outside?

In ur situation adding an intake fan is not gonna add any cfm to the airflow through ur tent, and adding cfm is the only thing that will cool the space down

outside is 27 Celsius and its 33 Celsius in the camp but its night time at the moment 10 pm as in the middle of the day in can go up to 40 Celsius sometimes

so basically i need like a mini ac for cooling ?

does a humidifier help a bit with this issue even if i just started the flowering stage ?

Ah mate if I was dealing with 25c+ as my minimum outside temps I would be looking at an ac. You would have to be exchanging air unbelievably quickly during flower to keep ur temps in check.

yeah trying to find a good small ac that fits the tent. but not sure which is best as on amazon not everything ship to my country

4x4s do just fine by sucking the air in passively, no need for a dedicated intake unless your tent is getting its air from somewhere other than the lung room (space outside the tent) such as ducting in from a window, or from another room. Otherwise an exhaust fan is really all you need, and ideally duct that out of the lung room as well.
