Dude I’ve been the only electrician at a company I’m not gonna name because they mandated vaccinations or layoffs. Been doing shift coverage until they hire someone new. Tons of companies implemented that rule, are you that grossly misinformed? Maple leaf is a prime example, get a shot or get laid off indefinitely. Not to mention every government run position, every hospital, every nursing home, the list goes on and on. Hell you can’t even fly interprovincially without being vaxxed or having to jump through hoops with ridiculous doctors notes and garbage done 30 days in advance.

The guy sat down with more residents and outright heard their complaints and tried to fix them as fast as he could than any politician ever has. Was he brilliant, no. Was he arrogant and ignorant at times, yes. But at the end of the day he was always trying to better the city for the residents however he could. Smoking crack amongst other things made him a walking joke we could all laugh at but he’s the only politician who would actually want to speak with you on a face to face level and try to come up with a solution to your concerns. He’s also the only politician to say hey we earn lots of money we don’t deserve perks put that cost back into the city and it’s people where it belongs. Our current lib leadership (federally) shuts down work, implemented rules that created job loss and economic struggles, all the while telling you we’re all feeling the struggle while they gave themselves salary increases. If Covid had hit and ford had been pm you can guarantee he woulda said look we’re all in this together we as your government are going to take a cut as well in solidarity with the people. As much as a fuck up as he was in senses, he was also a solid politician that actually gave a fuck instead of screwing you for back door deals. His bro on the other hand is questionable at best but still leaps and bounds better than delduca and horwath.
