flushing with molasses?

don't worry, as long as all u fed them was the molasses then ur good. Mollasses is used when flushing because of it's high amount of potassium (supposed to add flavor as well, but idk about that), as flushing clenses the soil of pretty much EVERYTHING. Adding the molasses gives the plant at least SOMETHING in the end, and if anything will make the bud taste better, not worse, like normal nutes. Personally, I'd suggest using molasses throught flowering, adding it to normal nutes, then when ur done with the nutes, keep givin em the molasses with the water. Hard to overdo it really, but use 1tbsp per gal. of water every time u water. Be sure ur using UNSUPHERED MOLASSES! as it is the purest form which is best for ur plants.

Yeah like said before, the molasses is fertilizer that otherwise wouldn't be used during the flushing period. So it improves the growth and yield as well as helping the taste of the bud. It is much better than chemical ferts because those will ruin the taste and smoke.

First, I should clear up that there is TWO kinds of flushing i know of. 1. where u actaully are FLUSHING everything out of the soil with 3times the containers capacity of water. This is usually done due to problems with the plant, usaully ph. 2. Just stopping the nutes, and only using water for the remainder of the grow, this is to clean out any of the nasty nute flavors. The reason u hear of using only water after flushing is that they don't want any unnatural flavors in the final product. molasses won't give u any of the bad flavors that normal nutes would leave behind, while at the same time givin ur plant a good source of pottassium, and a bit of magnesium as well. It's really a personall preference, for me, I've never NOT used molasses.

Molasses all the time for me too. It makes buds bigger and tastes good, so why not use it until the end?

feeding. even though they say every 7 days
to spray it on but I do it every day.
The last time I pruned I took a few leaves
and ran them through my grinder, and WoW
the leafs Smell a Wicked GREEN. Yummy.

Not sure what blackstrap is, I believe it's just unsulpered isnt it? I use Brer Rabbit Unsulphered Molasses, seems to work great. Idk about using it for foliar though, as foliar feeding is kind of a vegging thing, it promotes vegetive growth, not what u want during flowering, but who knows, it's got the right stuff in it for flowering(the pottasium) so maybe it would work. anyone out there foliar feed with molasses?

i used molassas wile flushing and it left a harsh tast in the buds,it was so bad i had to make butter out of it . b carfull.

ya i am gonna stick with science on this one. water for the last 2 weeks.
I can't say what it DOES do for sure. What I can say, through personal experience is that it DOESN'T leave a harsh taste. I used it throughout flowering, and flushed with it as well and my shit turned out DANK, and some of the SMOOTHEST smoke I've ever had. Just for reference, check out the pics in my other thread, I used the mollasses on it like I said. The buds were decent, but I wouldn't say it was just cuz the mollasses though.
