Critical Kush - 60 days flowering still not ready

Hey,

It's been 60 days of flowering for Barney's Lab Critical Kush and the trichomes still aren't ready. Any idea on how long to wait for or how long they will change to Amber?

Excuse the poor quality trichomes pics...

Thanks

The colour change is quite a lengthy process to get in the ball park of 20/30% 90 days on average ime, if you post a full picture of the plant it would help.
Ah okay.
I've started flushing with water on advise but let me know...

Hopefully the pics help.

I wouldn't flush I'd feed until its ready to chop almost, when it's getting near ready lower the nutrient strength, I'd normally finish with 0.6ec then 3-4 days before I chop them give them only water.

I don't get the connection with not feeding the plant and that making better weed I think keeping the plant healthy throughout its life is what makes good weed.

My view is how do yellowing leafs collect light, evaporate moisture, asbsorb Co2 efficiently.

I'm sure you'll read other views and you might want to but wait until they're ready then do what you want just don't flush during growing time.

The plant will tell you when it’s getting there but amber trichs is not necessarily the best determination of finishing. Looking at the pics alone I’d guess you’ve got 2 weeks before she’ll start passing her prime.

You average 90 days? You only grow sativa’s? I’ve definitely grown 90 day plants, I have a killer 90 day Big Sur Holy Bud in rotation now but while it may be your average 90 days is by no means the industry average.

70-80 seems to be the norm on most current popular strains but I’ve ran so many dank 65-70 strains, it blows my mind you’ve not ran any of those. I have a killer old school djs blueberry that’s done at 55, it does not get better at 60 or 65 days, just done at 55 days.

No I've never grown any of they alleged 8/9 weeks it's something I'd need to see.

Looking back at my diary's yes 20/30% 89/93 days for the 5 crops, 1 strain 73 days with a scattering of amber.

From what I can see it needs more time, it's only 60 days i give them 10 weeks for starters.

Trichs take an age to colour plants show all the typical signs of ready long before the trichs on the calyxes start to color up, it's not a case of it looks ready so trichs will be amber it doesn't work like that, or not in my tent.

75 days still a bit to go.

90 days is about average ime but it depends on what you're looking for.

From pic 2 I’d say you went about 2 weeks too long, most I know would agree, but I can totally see why you’re saying your plants go 90 days.
