I make my own brandy out of grapes, plums, apples, aronia...Tastes fantastic.

The same passion as weed growing, even bigger.

I had a Stone IPA today.
Tastes like half the IPAs I’ve brewed.
It’s good, don’t get me wrong, but the style is starting to feel stale.
Hops are so popular that the malt is in the trunk, not even the back seat.

Agreed. I brewed for years. Anybody can overhop a beer and call it an IPA. Making a well balanced pale is more difficult. I'm pretty much over IPA's now.

I've liked this Pale for years. At one time it was my main beer. It's a damn good pale in my opinion.

Well said. I think my favorites ended up being Red Seal from Mendocino brewing, and anchor steam, a real original.

SNPA was my go to also. For years. Maybe a decade.
One hop (Cascade).
Chico yeast.
Doesn’t get much simpler.

There was a place on 57th and 10th in Manhattan that it it on tap 30 years ago.
Never saw it on tap anywhere else in NYC.
Excellent beer.
