I have an appt that I sprouted under a light than after week and a half I started easing it outside, it's about two in a half weeks now and I noticed a few days ago these tiny worms / large in the new growth and a few tiny holes! I picked them off with tiny tweezers and I dusted them with diatomaceous earth. Two days later a low dose neem spray and after drying, another light dust of D.E. just looked this morning and seen another tiny worm/larvae in the new growth. Here's some pics of plant and creature. Anyone have any experience dealing with this or how/why I'm getting them

That's a straight up caterpillar. Although it looks like the thrips have had a hey dayon her already. I'll be surprised if she makes it.

Few questions did you overwater or keep your top soil moist? Might be Fungus gnats larva from the sight of the pictures.

Definitely kept moist. I have it in a 7gal bag with the bottom 3 in hydrocorn. So it drains well but I have kept it moist for sure

That is a caterpillar. A moth of some sort laid eggs which hatched and grew into that. You would have been better off just picking them/it off rather than coating that seedling in DE and neem which looks like is frying the new growth. I'd rinse that off and hope for the best. If you see anymore of those just smash them between your fingertips and then wash your hands. You're doing more damage coating that little seedling with all that stuff than the munching that thing has done.

Sometimes the cure is worse than the disease. This is one of those times.
