Death Star Ohio Cut need answers.

I have been offered an "authentic" ohio death star cut, I am in the midwest and I know it is around in my area, I however do not know the gentleman handing it over. I also do not honestly know anything about death star either, but its being offered and ive heard its great. I asked for him to shoot over a pic of it flowering out, and he did though its not extremely far into flowering, or the whole plant, so I am a tad skeptical on the spot, but I figure if someone on here is actually growing it/knows what it looks like then they could lead me in the direction of yea it definently looks it, or far from the true cut. I apologize if this is in the wrong area, but would be greatly greatly appreciative if I could find a few answers:) attached is the picture I was sent as being the real death star cut.


(The real reason im wanting this strain without ever having had it is not because of the large hype it has gotten, but the many crosses I have seen made with the strain that turned out to push some unbelievable numbers)

I'm pretty sure it's a Sensi Star cross. Maybe it's just a killer phenotype. I've had some pretty incredible Sensi Star, I'd jump on it personally. Quarantine it, run a single plant... see what's up. It can't really hurt that much.

Hope you have a good way to contain the smell! If it's real deal it will stink from your grow room to Jupiter's moons :D

You could always make your own determination after you smoke some finished product.
I haven't grown it but I smoked some a few years ago. It's worth the gamble.

I definently was very specific telling him he MUST have finished product for me to test before purchase because I do know that is really the only way to end up knowing. Death star is a sensi star (female?) Forced to make pollen onto a nycsd female from the bit I have heard..I know the smokes killa, I just was hoping for a little input if it even looks similar, from the tad ive gathered it seems the real ohio cut is more sativa in growth, such as this picture, the coloradio death star is much more indica kush style look to it. Correct me if I am wrong though.

I only grow the kinda buds that reak up the neighborhood...luckily im FAR from any neighborhood..the type of buds you put into multiple bags and still reaks like a skunk in the room;)

I know what you mean, used to hear it all the time then poof gone.

Still would be greatly appreciative if anyone who has grown the real thing could post up some pics to compare with this.

(on a side note, does anyone ever know if anyone from team death star used to attend schwagstock? I got into a convo one sunny day there with a few cool cats who claimed they were part of the team death star and had some for me to light up..(it was required by them to smoke it in a 4 ft lightsaber bong they had custom made, and everyone in the crew was fully dressed in star wars gear the whole HOT july weekend..certainly felt like I was meeting some of the Jedis haha)

The ones I saw were a bit gangly in veg but she becama a strong bitch at 5 weeks flower and the stink thing is right on the money. Cuts used to go for 25.00 each and that was a bargain. Also saw Meigs Gold and Dumpster from same guy, it was all the real deal.

Holly shit!! Finally someone who has heard of Miegs gold. That bud was badass for sure. Is it exctinct now or what? I cannot locate it at all now. Ive asked everyone under the sun in that area and no one has seen it for years. If you know of any please message me dude for real.

how did that turn out for u and DeathStar? Wish i could get ahold of some Ohio finest cuts, been here my whole life jus to scared to talk to ppl bout growing to ever try and find the goods from here.

I have a buddy who grows he Death Star cut. I hate it, 2 puffs and you need to take a nap. The high will destroy you.

I have a cut of Ohio Death star amd have worked with her a bit. Id love to have a cut of Lemon G. I used to work with her as well and lost my cut years ago.

I read a bunch on here about Death-Star being extremely skunky and potent. I popped one bean from AKBB's BX and its only six inches tall and smells skunkier than anything else I've ever grown. Don't know if this is a trait from the Diesel or Sensi Star. Excited for flowering..
