Go through the hierarchy and rate Trump's arguments against the chart below and see how often they rise above the bottom half, much less 3/4s of the bottom. His position has been sinking lower all the time as his arguments and deceptions diminish daily, he has been reduced to the very bottom of the chart for a long time now. Like Bannon he has no defense.

people do not seem to understand the role of the president in the United States government.

The President is both the head of state and head of government of the United States of America, and Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces.
Under Article II of the Constitution, the President is responsible for the execution and enforcement of the laws created by Congress. Fifteen executive departments — each led by an appointed member of the President’s Cabinet — carry out the day-to-day administration of the federal government. They are joined in this by other executive agencies such as the CIA and Environmental Protection Agency, the heads of which are not part of the Cabinet, but who are under the full authority of the President. The President also appoints the heads of more than 50 independent federal commissions, such as the Federal Reserve Board or the Securities and Exchange Commission, as well as federal judges, ambassadors, and other federal offices. The Executive Office of the President (EOP) consists of the immediate staff to the President, along with entities such as the Office of Management and Budget and the Office of the United States Trade Representative.
The President has the power either to sign legislation into law or to veto bills enacted by Congress, although Congress may override a veto with a two-thirds vote of both houses. The Executive Branch conducts diplomacy with other nations and the President has the power to negotiate and sign treaties, which the Senate ratifies. The President can issue executive orders, which direct executive officers or clarify and further existing laws. The President also has the power to extend pardons and clemencies for federal crimes.
With these powers come several responsibilities, among them a constitutional requirement to “from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient.” Although the President may fulfill this requirement in any way he or she chooses, Presidents have traditionally given a State of the Union address to a joint session of Congress each January (except in inaugural years) outlining their agenda for the coming year.
The Constitution lists only three qualifications for the Presidency — the President must be at least 35 years of age, be a natural born citizen, and must have lived in the United States for at least 14 years.

Where in the above passage does it mention waving a magic wand, or exercising mind control powers to achieve everything everyone thinks is important?
We're at war with russia via proxy, they're not very likely to accommodate us unless we have someone to exchange for her, and to be acceptable to the russians, it will have to be someone strategically much more important than she is. i don't even know if such a person exists. i can't find easy reference to such a person.
the only other thing that could be acceptable to them is a relaxation of sanctions, and that simply isn't going to happen.
perhaps Mr. James could further explain what he expects Biden to do in the current situation?

He should be spending his considerable fortune to elect democrats, if he wants social justice. Also some basic civics education wouldn't hurt either, perhaps he thinks only Trump can fix it? There are other Americans in Russian prisons on trumped up charges too. People expect the president to solve all problems with powers he does not have, if he has the house and the senate at his back with a court that is in agreement, he's as powerful as Jesus himself, or the Devil. The president may propose, but the congress shall dispose.

Hoffman went on to compare Musk and Trump, calling the former president a "grifter."
"Trump, OTOH [on the other hand], is a spoiled rich kid who bankrupts everything he touches, including the US economy," Hoffman said on Twitter. "His career highlight was pretending to be a successful entrepreneur on a TV show, instead of being one in real life like Elon."

The suffering (dukkha) of change, we of a certain generation feel it most acutely, as technology accelerates the pace of change. Every second we spend with technology, is one we don't spend interacting with others, or even ourselves.

We can see the changes in society, both before the computer, smartphones and internet, during the transition and the results. We can see what we have gained and what we have lost, it is not just a lament, it is also an observation.

In addition to plant based, if only there was an alternative protein option, like crickets, grasshoppers, ants, and meal worms. This may curb some greenhouse gasses and water consumption attributed to dairy/beef/pork farming practices.
Just ran into an article that may mess up some plans....

The researchers suggest more work needs to be done to further determine if insects do indeed feel pain, and if they do, how to address the ethical issues surrounding their treatment by humans causing them harm.

I can already see the arguments 20 years from now between some right winged cunt cricket farmers and pro-insect-rights lefties.
