Temps

Hey I'm growing in the summer and I've noticed some days my lights of temps are at 78 or 80. My lights on since it's at night are about 80. I can't lower the temps any more until a future harvest when I buy a mini split for the room.

I haven't noticed any major problems but I was just wondering if any one could give me any info about a little to no drop on temps when lights go off.

As long as your lights aren't too close to your plants, 80 degrees in your flower room isn't gong to kill anything. Results may vary depending on strain.

I have light on at night and lights off in the day time for now. I've been avoiding the summer because of this but I hoping the harvest is good.

80 to 82 is what they like

If you’re growing with LED then low 80s is where you want your temperatures anyways. No need for AC at this point.

Every year towards the end of the grow season approaching summer I get regular lights on temps of 95 in my tent. Obviously not ideal, but really its fine. Marijuana plants grow abundantly in the wild in many places that get regular temps much higher than 80. No need to invest in and spend money, energy, and emissions on air conditioning.

Just wondering? What portion of growers use each type of lighting these days? I assume most are using LEDs? 10 year ago maybe different, but 2022?

Just from what I read on the forums I think the vast majority of growers are using LED. They are superior.

Ohh nice thanks for the reply. The temps got lower and noticed temps to be 77-80 so I think it's under control.
