No I definitely wouldn't call that an Air-Pot.I've been using milk crates lined with nylon screen for years. Works fantastic and lasts forever. Easy to clean and disinfect between grows. I guess you'd call them air pots.

Otherwise, flip them over and use those holes to tie the branchesThe main difference between original air pots and the knockoffs is that the first couple of rows in the original do not have holes in them to allow watering without it coming out the sides.
Man I wish my roots looked so sexyI also usually run 3g. I bought the yellow 2.2g Air-Pot. They say they are the equivalent of a 3 gallon pot. Between the massive root system they created and the slightly smaller size I wish I had the 3.6g ones.
