Day 45... the last couple days were alittle stressful trying to figure out what my deficincy was but i think it was eith mg or nit. i cleaned the system throughly and put fresh water and added my nutes 10/7/5 ml per gallon. (grow/micro/bloom) i also added about 1/4 teaspoon epsom salt per gallon and my 100ml h2o2. ph is at 5.85 and ppm is 1110. i think i am seeing preflowering and its male if im right so i pray i am not right. i am still going to clone to find out sex to be 100% sure before i toss it. my seedlings are doing good. i currently have 3 ppm, 3 bubblious, 3 durban poison, and 1 big bud.

That yellowing with browning leafs for sure look like a Nitrogen(N) deficiency. I still dont see any signs of sexing yet? Is it on a 12/12 cycle yet? Case thats the only real time the plant will wanna sex on its own.

I don't know much about growing, but don't plants that size need moore room to spread their roots? Are you planning on transplanting it before you flower it?(if its a female). And also, are you using "PURle" flourescents? because I heard that those give out a lot of UV that's bad fore seedlings. You probably know more than me though. Good luck.

Many kudos to you and your setup...looks great! The plant looks overall healthy, some yellowing but really nothing major if you can correct the N, and it looks like it's getting pretty tall so good job. From one newb to another I have to admit you're a bigger man than I by going with the ebb and flow over soil for your first grow. However I'm really surprised out of all the people posting I've yet to see anyone offer an opinion in regards to your plant's sex. I've read what seems like a hundred thousand posts, articles, books, and blogs and from the hundreds of pictures I've seen I hate to say it but your plant is exhibiting a lot of male qualities. Males are often tall with sporadic branching and few leaves. You're using a nice lamp so I'm pretty positive it's getting PLENTY of light, so unless you've been pruning a lot it really doesn't have a lot of leaves for it's size. Females are generally bushier than that. You said it's bagseed but do you know the strain? I really do hope I'm wrong because I hate being the bearer of ANY bad news, but my experience with my own grow and research is telling me otherwise. Best of luck all the less.

its still on 18/6 light cycle but from what i have read and seem the plant usually shows pre flowers at 4-6 weeks of vegative growth. i compared the pictures i saw to my plant and it loks almost identical. here are two of mine. you can see a little nub coming out the internode. the light is about 5 inches over the young ones for know

thank you for the kind words and postive rep. it always makes me feel so special inside.
i wont be transplanting because if its a female then it will be my mother. i will take clones and flower those SOG style in the same type containers but but the big rockwool cube. only the starter cube and hydroton. the floroscent im using for the young ones is a 4 foot 4 tube fixture with 2 cool and 2 warm bulbs. i believe its perfect for the young seedling stage but time will tell.
i cleaned the system and added a stronger solution so i hope that works.when doing my research before buying anything i felt more comfortable with hydro because to me, it looked easier. i am glad i did go hydro but when i get more space i want to try a small soil grow to compare and see which one i prefer. i will have to agree with you that i think its a male also. If it is, i wont be too mad because i learned a lot from growing it and the mistakes i made wont be repeated so my little ones will benefit from it. cloning to find out sex looks fairly easy to me. all you do is take a couple clones from the big one and once they take root you put them in the flower room. in 2-3 weeks they show sex and then you are 100% sure its either a male or female.

Day 47... plant is 25 inches tall and standing very proud. i pruned off the few leaves that were dieing due to the deficiency. ppm is at 1115 after i topped the rez off with h2o and h2o2. the young ones are also fine. they are not as big as i would like them to be but i will be patient.

Hey atcjon, I've been following your grow from the beginning. Your plant looks great and is a testement to the importance of attention to detail. Your setup is nice and clean, you seem like you've really taken the time to pay attention to every tiny detail, and the results speak for themselves. Can't wait to see what the bud looks like.

thanks for the compliments bro. i researched growing marijuana for about 4 years before i actually started. i was set on everything i was going to get and i bought about 1/4 of it and then i read al b. fuct's " get a harvest every 2 weeks" and "al b FAQ" and it changed everything. my room has transformed alot from the pictures from my first post because of him. i recommend every post al b fuct has written as essential reading for the hydro gower

very tall, starting to be a little too tall. i will be taking clones in about a week so i will be cutting her height down somewhat. do you have any young ones you are rasing at the moment?
