So I was reamending my soil...added my amendments threw some Kashi on top...I was tired and didn't water it in

Well couple days later I checked it and to my surprise white mycelium started forming... even tho the soil was bone dry (pretty cool)

So I thought cool I'll add some water later...couple more days past... lol

I check the soil and I see white myc and what looked like hues of greyish maybe greenish with some yellow idk the white mycelium from before was still there too.

I reached my hand in the soil...it was cooking and I could feel it getting warm I said fuck it and I broke the soil up a little.... added more Kashi on top and watered it in

I wish I saved a piece of the yellow green stuff but I found this chunk in the floor... so I have a piece of it to show y'all but I wanna say I seen green too...pretty sure I seen a green hue

I have a book on making bokashi and author speaks about non-white molds and from what I got....it isn't a problem. His solution was adding more kashi which is what I did I just don't know what to do guys help me out... Think it'll be a problem?

On a side note I threw away some old leaf clippings that had been in a bucket for probably a month and it had a very similar yellow pinhead fungus like that on there so my guess that this is a decomposing fungus which might not be a bad thingIMG_20220726_230533798.jpgIMG_20220726_230536481.jpgIMG_20220726_230532276.jpgIMG_20220726_230524525.jpgIMG_20220726_230525466.jpgIMG_20220726_230523435.jpgIMG_20220726_225428916_HDR.jpgIMG_20220726_225420892_HDR.jpg

Now you know why they call it cooking. Some stuff actually gets hot since it decomposes so fast. The Kashi is helping speed up that process too.

I wouldn't worry about the mycellium on top. Let it cook for a bit, then mix it around. Don't add more Bokashi. That was crazy advice if you ask me.

I think it's going after dead stuff...I'm hopeful a mature healthy plant would be okay
