Why do you need to lower the ph of your water?
Reading this trying to learn some more , Is it not a common practice to water plants with a lower than normal PH ? Say like a 6.8 rather than the 7 or 7 + that is in most water from municipalities ?Yes

For a living soil grow, it depends. Most of the time, you don't need to adjust PH. But if you have extremely alkaline water, I would adjust it down to 6.5. Each type of grow is different, coco and hydro require a lower PH than soil.Reading this trying to learn some more , Is it not a common practice to water plants with a lower than normal PH ? thanks , Currently have a couple almost ready , one I am trying to re-veg after a small harvest and a few babies may be ready around Christmas in the greenhouseBuy a lb of citric acid instead. It's good stuff, and it's dry, just say no to bottles. Krebs cycle baby!

what else is in the water?Just to bump this. Last Saturday unused distilled vinegar to lower my pH and my plants got sicker and sicker. Some are ok but all my super skunks hated it and look like they could die 5 weeks in. Never use vinegar! Maybe it has some chemical mixed in or it was a bad mix... Ph said 6.25 but fucked my plants.
