I need a "Just Skunks" topic. A little skunk has been messing with me relentlessly-he comes up on my porch every morning at 5am and just starts fooling around with everything in sight. I shine a light at him from a window in my front yard, but he is totally oblivious to it and to any sounds I make. The other day I saw him crawl inside my shoe-luckily it was a grungy shoe I just use for yard work...the little fool got stuck inside with his tail sticking out. That shoe was flopping around for 5 minutes before he stopped trying to turn around and decided to back out. Now I don't want to use that shoe because he really rubbed himself in it good trying to escape. Racoons are hilarious so long as they aren't doing something horrible to your belongings, but skunks are pretty funny too if you watch them.

i used to have a pet skunk till it got a little older, hardly left the property....she was awesome.....loved cat food...
