Supercropping

To the right is a branch I’ve been training daily to bend further down. To the left is a branch I’ve done the same to until it eventually gave way at a point and easily bent over in position. Seems to effectively remove the pinching most do. Thoughts? (You’ll have to zoom in to see)

Yes, that bend is like super cropping. Pinching the stem softens it up so it doesn't snap and break. Sometimes the stems are soft enough on their own, but if you keep trying to do it that way, you will break some stems off.

Peace ✌

Make sure you be like an electrician and pack some black tape before hand , then your prepared for if they break to tape them back on.

Yeahhh I’ve snapped two branches so far lmao. Taped em up. Think I’m gonna calm down on it a bit and start pinching before bending going forward. This stretch seems never ending. Question tho, should the tape be left or removed after a bit?

I do remove mine, but it’s a bit of a pain and one must be careful not to do more damage. It sure doesn’t take long to mend unlike a clone to root.

Thanks man. & yeah the first one I snapped perked right back up the next day like nothing happened. Snapped the second today so we’ll see on it

I just super cropped a couple tops 2 days ago.
It was a tension filled event but in no time the end bud was pointing straight up and things look good. I’m growing 3 different photo strains (Don’t ask why) and this plant (Jack Herer) was reaching for the moon, so I had to do something or I’d run out of space.
Anyway, I took a pic right after I did it and one less than 24 hours later……u can see the reaction.
