Should I top this plant?

Hello All!
This is my first grow and I’m outdoors. It’s an Indica plant and I transplanted from a 3 to 13gal pot 1.5 weeks ago. She loved it and veg is going crazy. 11th node coming on now and plant is -3’ tall.
Should I top, wait, or forget about it? I’ve done my reading, I think I should but still not sure when…

Outdoor plants are better left to do their thing. Flowering comes on different than indoors.
Just let her do her thing at this point

Definitely don’t top, it delays flower. But its a good time to thin out little interior sucker branches and they’re good to learn about cloning.
An great comment! I did some lower thinning today in fact and wondered about all the interior folliage…do I really need to keep it, especially when flowering begins?

You can top...it's just a little late in the season. Next year you will be better prepared.
I wondered…My neighbor said “do it now” but she’s got sativa that looks thin/way different. She let’s nature take it’s course. I worry that excess interior folliage on my plant means less yield. So maybe I’m better off doing interior pruning at this point

Yea I'd go with the combined experience of all the people here over your neighbor anyday haha ;-)

Anyways I'm invested in this plants future now haha, head over to "Grow Journals" section & start a grow journal so you can keep us updated bud!

Thanks to all for the great input! I do plan to take a clone and go indoor during the coming MA winter! I’ll also look at “Grow Journals”… I had no idea this resource existed as a Newbie. I’ll contribute, but until my final transplant this was a “wing it and use common sense” grow from my vegetable container knowledge.
