Instructions for using a budget TDS meter...
1: take the meter and find a door in your house that seems to swing open all the time.
2: take the meter and wedge it under the door so it holds it closed.
You now have the perfect doorstop.
3: go and buy a Hanna, or a bluelab
Works like a charm, everytime.

Just change it to the 700 scale and you're good

Yes I think it’s because it’s in microsiemens and not millisiemens so the 140 is 1.4 EC and 980 ppm maybe a little off but atleast I can get a ball park

1EC can be represented as 1μS or 1000 mS

The screen grab is actually correct as the conversion shows EC to microsiemens/meter and not microsiemens/centimeter.

1.4 EC = 1400 uS/cm = 140 uS/m

Go ahead. ppm is just a number based on a conversion from EC. Master grower use EC.

I'll have you know I got my master grower license last month and I'm officially setting a new precedent. This is the age of regression.

I totally missed the meter denominator, good catch.
EC meters are all mS/cm afaik

The 140 is how my meter reads 1.4 ec that’s what I couldn’t work out Iv only ever had ones that just say 1.4-1.5 like normal I didn’t realise there’s different measurements to measure ec…. Sorry guys I spun myself out too yesterday and again thanks for all the help I’m sure I’ll hit u up with another head fxxk soon cheers
