Spider Farmer Se3000 + Gelato

Everything is running along nicely but there's not much I can do now.

I put up my mylar reflector it's surprising the difference that makes around the edge to light intensity.


I changed the nutrient from 1 part Ionic grow to canna A+B yesterday at 1.5ec (3 weeks 12-12)

The run off circa 15% has been consistently low in ec I'm putting in 1.5ec and getting 1.0/1.1ec out.

That's 4 weeks now into 12-12 and everything is going well.
I'd like a bit more heat and bit less humidity but all considered I'm happy with them.

Now that they're getting bigger my humidity is constantly around the 70% mark.

That's not usually a problem but when the air coming in is 90%+ it makes environment control more difficult.

I've raised my ec to 1.8 fed 3x daily judging by the run off they're feeding very well atm 1.8 in 1.1/1.2ec out hence the ec raise.

I forgot to measure the height of them but as well as raising the light some I can see that they're still stretching into the 4th week 12-12.

The plant at the near right it's nice and healthy but i'm not happy with its just too compact for me but it's too late now to do anything, who knows it might be terpy

They're looking well.

On June 10th the canopy was 27/32" today it's 36/43" so that's another 10" of stretch over week 4, I'm going to give it a final pruning through the week I can see a couple of shoots that need removing.

Everything is going like clockwork all I'm having to do atm is keep the reservoir topped up and empty out the run off.

The ec/ph, temps and humidity are all the same 24-5c/75% it's not exactly summer like around here yet I've seen only 1 day that broke the 20c mark, regardless they still look lush.

The #2 King gelato had a good handful of shoots removed.

It was a bit leafy and not much light getting through so it's a bit better now.

#1 also had a good handful removed.


Light can through the canopy better and it might have some effect on the humidity?

Next I need to pull down the 2nd net to support the buds it's less convenient with multi strain crops.

I can't wait to get back to mono crops, pheno hunting blows.

A few updates pics...


I'm at that point in the grow where there's not much I can do, emptying the run off and filling up the reservoir is about it everything else is still moving along like clockwork I'm enjoying this time.

The last nutrient I mixed up was canna ab 1.5ec ph 5.8 that's all I've been using since flowering.

Not having much to do I've spent a bit more time in veg tent, I've been cloning and re cloning monster clones and taking some new monster clones for mothers, I've got quite a list of mothers now I need to narrow down, Bluchi, Skunk special, King's Juice, Blackberry cake, Star dog,
King gelato, Glukie pie, Glookies + a good number of cheese strains to pheno hunt like Double dipz, Swiss cheese, Exodus cheese, cheese #1 among others.

Thanks bro, yes I'm impressed by this light it's better than I could've imagined, the canopy isn't as even as I'd like so some plants aren't getting the best amount of light but they're still doing great.

There some nice sized buds you have. Yeah these spider farmer lights are impressive. I'm getting better growth under the se 3000 than with a HP's 600 wt. Jealous of the guys who have the bigger versions of the spider farmers.

Week 5-6) A few pictures...







I added another feed to the schedule that's 4 feeds a day every 3hrs 40 minutes timed a 1/2hr after light on and a 1/2hr before light off.

They're starting to gain some proper weight now.



They're looking great so i'm just continuing with 1.5ec a+b

Next I need to start thinking about plans for my next crop.

Up next cheese dipz I'm looking forward to this one after growing their bluchi its my favourite smoke atm.

Everything is still running along nicely, a few pics...


I'm pleased with them overall but this one plant is a bit tall which is dictating the light height I'm annoyed at myself for it.

All I need to do is keeping the reservoir filled and empty the run off.

They're looking well here's a few updated pics.


I've had some problems with my nutrient clouding and precipitation so I've changed nutrient to ionic 1 part... 1.2ec ph 5.8

I've since learned water from the bathroom is to warm and lacks the chlorine of the mains water due to the pressure in the mains system which stops chlorine gassing off, water from the bathroom sits in a tank where chlorine can easily gas off, also water from the mains is freezing cold in comparison to the attic tank.

Fingers crossed i get no more hassle between water more suited and the new nutrients.

#53 Day 12-12
I'm starting to see a change in the plants there's a bit of pinky colour starting on some plants.




I found this interesting...

The bud has grown just fine with a leaf blocking light from it.


Since Thursday I've lowered the ec to 1.0 ph5.8 no other changes.

I can see color just starting on this one.


They've still 3-4 weeks left in them i reckon, the glukies are a bit quicker maybe 2 weeks?

They're not the biggest of buds but all considered they're doing fine.

Nutrient still 0.8ec neat Canna A+B.

Two are going to be ready before the others one I'm not fussed about its got a minty thing going on in the smell, the two king gelato from Femaleseeds.co.uk smells absolutely fantastic, two different terps profiles but both are reeking!

It's getting past peak flowering but the run off isn't increasing yet so i know they're they're drinking plenty nutrient.

I've been running the dehumidifier constantly at night that's possibly the reason... No that it matters its only an observation normally the nutrient uptake is starting to go back at this point.
