How long can clones stay in clone dome for?

I was wondering how long clones are allowed to stay in the clone dome. I \want to try to build a full rack of clones but it might take about 6 weeks to do it.

Can I have my oldest clones stay in the clone dome for 6 weeks or longer.

I am thinking that if I have perlite I might be able to accomplish this because i heard it keeps the roots from going brown.

Any Suggestions?

They will simply outgrow the confines of the dome given enough time. That time depends on the dimensions of your cloner. You may also have trouble with tangled roots if your clones are allowed to grow next to one another for an extended period.

do you think I could pull off 6 weeks in the dome with perlite at the bottom?

Why do you want to keep them in longer. IMHO your inviting rot. Roots are forced out faster if you take the dome off. I leave it until I see good roots.

I am trying to build up as many clones as I can before I flower. I will nto be able to cut as many as I want without letting the plants recover for a few weeks.

I will most likley need to get some perlite if i am going to leave them in the box that long, correct?
