Roasted pork with a scallion-ginger relish. I also ate three 1/2 inch pieces of potato. Feel free to add that to my permanent record. Please talk about potatoes less.

I used this recipe and it turned out nicely:

There will be potatoes. Don't report or deport me. I am making Entrecôte with Sauce Bernaise and sautéed fresh amaranth and garlic. And little baby potatoes. Epic or Epic fail.

The lady went out of town today and I did some sweating in the yard and am too lazy to cook for just myself. I picked up some to go Italian from the grocery store. I haven't had a good plate of ravioli for awhile.

And when we were kids that’s all we wanted.
Never mind we had 3 generations of Italian Americans in the house cooking.
It was in a can! Had to have it.
Begged my mom to buy Spaghettios too.

Spaghettios were too sweet. However I loved canned Tamales which made zero sense because in my neighborhood we were awash in really good tamales from about November to January at all my friends houses.

When I got older I moved to these:

Now I only eat them once a year at Christmas when my hairdresser brings me a bag of her mom's homemade ones with some fresh salsa out of her garden. Hers are some of the best tamales I've ever eaten and we have a pretty good selection down here.
